Dear Subway Manger ,

I’m writing to express my deep frustration and concern about the service I received at your 6 Harwood Ave S, Ajax, ON L1S 7L8 store on 30 december. I ’ve been a loyal Subway customer for over 5 years and have never encountered such unprofessional and threatening behavior in any establishment across Canada.

During my visit, I simply asked the server to cut my sandwich again, as it was not properly cut the first time. Instead of addressing my request calmly, he became defensive, saying, "I cut it already," and then argued with me. When I tried to explain myself, he responded aggressively, “I’ve been making subs for 2 years. I don’t have time for this. You’re free to argue if you want.” At that point, in an act of defiance, he cut my sandwich again—but this time with his hand, showing his displeasure rather than using proper utensils.(Paraminder)

Things escalated when my wife asked for a receipt for proof of our purchase. At that moment, I was genuinely afraid to go again and ask him for the receipt, fearing that he might become physically aggressive toward me. His hostile attitude and body language made it clear that he was already upset, and I was worried that any further interaction might lead to a confrontation.

This level of hostility and unprofessionalism is completely unacceptable, and I’m extremely disappointed. I’ve never felt unsafe or disrespected in any other restaurant or business across Canada, and I never expected such behavior from Subway.

I hope this matter is addressed as soon as possible, as no customer should have to feel threatened or disrespected when making a simple...

I love this subway so much and most subway around where I live. I have lived in Ajax for the past 9 years and have been going to this subway for a long time. Been trying to get in better shape so have been going to the subway daily ordering the same thing. A turkey breast combo on white Italian bread toasted with cheese with three cookies and a ice tea from the machine. But lately subway has gotten worse when it comes to pricing and such and it’s gotten so out of hand it stopping me from going there as much as I use to and has done the same thing with my group of friends from Dennis O’Connor Catholic Highschool down the road from it. And instead people are deciding to go to the other places such as McDonald’s and chicken joy. They canceled the subway of the day which I frankly find to be ridiculous because that has been what subway is known for since the opening. Plus, the subway on Ajax’s drink machine was broken for 3 weeks and I had to pay the extra $ for bottled drinks bc they wouldn’t charge me regular for a drink even tho it’s not my problem subway as a whole company couldn’t go to that location and fix the machine sooner. These such things need to be fixed or brought back, like the “Sub of the day” & lower prices. I suggest like McDonald’s and chicken joy do a student code so it’s less money which would bring the public & Catholic elementary schools and high school students back making the location more popular and keeping the below 18 population as a...

Up until tonight I considered this place to be one of the best subway franchises around. Well tonight I was greatly disappointed. I ordered a meatball sub for delivery and the order after about 25 had yet to be processed so I switched it to a pick up order. When I arrived I saw a new guy and I greeted him with a nice hello I told him I’m here to pick up for Dave. He gave me my order and I went back home to finish watching my little movie and I noticed that the 12 inch meatball sub had only 2 meatballs and it was overstuffed with the toppings including lettuce, cucumbers and then like marinara sauce splashed in to look like meatballs it was absolutely disgusting. I got up and went back over there. When I arrived I asked him why waste peoples money and make me a weird sandwich? I also told him that this is my favourite subway and your bringing down customer moral. He made me another sub and I got to witness that he’s not keeping the veggies fresh, everything is unsanitary and he quite frankly does not have the technique on how to make a proper subway sub. You guys better get rid of him or teach him how to hold down your store.
