Read moreI arrived at Tim hortons because I wanted to buy myself something for lunch given that I worked the night shift, Come to realize both doors are closed. I'm confused because the location says open and I see there are 3 people sitting inside.... One guy in a white shirt on the computer by the window, 1 female with long Brown hair no mask and an older gentleman with her no mask. I called the store the manager picks up I asked if the store if the store is open he replies yes and I'm like oh but the door is locked he replies oh seeming shocked and told me to hold on alright ..... Mean I'm thinking I'm going to be let in because I see an employee female walking towards the door she unlocks it and lets out that female customer and the older gentleman customer she locks the door and goes back to whatever she was doing cleaning. while looking in the store, the manager with his mask down taking his time comes back on the phone and then tells me oh sorry we're closed because we're short staffed and I'm like so you're only catering to Drive-through customers and he said yes sorry no dine in serve, sorry they can't be a service. Meanwhile I'm the only one standing outside wanting a vanilla Iced coffee ... Anywho If that's the case why don't you notify potential customers and put a sign on the door stating drive-through only! You guys have paper and pen, who just locks the doors to their store and says nothing?? Such a big...
Read moreI’ve been coming to this Tim Hortons almost every morning for the past three years—not because I love it, but simply because it’s the most convenient option near my workplace. Unfortunately, the customer service—especially at the drive-thru—has been consistently disappointing.
From the moment you speak through the intercom, you’re rushed. The staff, particularly the woman who usually takes orders in the morning, rarely lets you finish before cutting you off and telling you to “drive through.” She never repeats the order back or tells you the total. Her tone is impatient, often aggressive, and definitely not welcoming. It’s a frustrating way to start the day.
When you arrive at the window, it gets worse. Since you weren’t told the price ahead of time, you’re not ready to pay right away—but instead of understanding that, they act annoyed if you take a second to pull out your wallet. There’s no “good morning,” no smile, no eye contact. They hand you your order while their other hand is putting your money in the till, without even looking at you. It’s as if they’re doing you a favor just by serving you.
This kind of service doesn’t reflect the friendly, community-focused image Tim Hortons is known for. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and retrains staff on the basics of respectful, human interaction. A little courtesy can...
