THE WORST TIM HORTON'S EXPERIENCE EVER. So i went through the drive through to order 2 combo's and 2 sandwiches on Saturday December 30th at 11 am. (BREAKFAST TIME)... i ordered a framers wrap with a hash brown and another wrap with hash browns.. then i ordered 2 croissant sandwiches with bacon... they said they have no more eggs.. i asked how long it will be they said it will be 10 minutes... so i said i'll wait.. i then asked them for 2 more hash browns... they said they don't have any more.. i asked them how long will that take since I'm going to wait 10 minutes already... they said it will take "20 minutes" for 2 hash browns. so by then i was like really.... as i was asking why it should take that long... i hear someone in the background of the speaker say "why is this man arguing with us...we work here".... i pull up to the drivethru window.... to confirm my order... "the Manager" says we don't have hash browns... so then i ordered chocolate chip muffin instead of the hash brown ... and was asked to pull over and wait on the side of the building... so i did... so ask i was waiting i realized that i should have gotten 2 hash browns with the combo's... i go in to ask... i asked the manager from far (she didnt even come to talk to me as i was waiting for her) she yells back one hash brown in the framer wrap and other in the bag... so I'm like okay that could be it... so then i ask another worker there for my receipt... i check the receipt... i am charged for another hash brown that i didnt get... I STILL HAVENT GOTTEN ONE APOLOGY YET.
So since I've already waited for 15 minutes by this time I might as well wait another 5 for 2 more hash browns... so i ordered 2 more hash browns... while I'm waiting another customer comes up to the cash and orders something... surprise surprise... they don't have it... the customer leaves... as I'm waiting there... now this is where I get ticked off.. the asian lady that took the order... turns around and talks to her co-workers... and says... i quote "why don't you just go and make your own food then"... i spoke out and said excuse me thats a customer.... she replies to me saying "I wasn't talking to you" ... i then asked her what her name is and she says "I don't have to tell you".... by the way none of the workers were wearing their name tags... which i think is mandatory.
I then ask to speak to a manager... a worker says... she is in the washroom... mind you i just saw her walk to the back 2 minutes before i asked. SO i said i'll wait... its now been 25 minutes... i then get a worker come up to me and say ... the manager is busy and can't come... I'm like what????? i waited another 15 minutes.. THE BAKER guy comes out... and says... she can't come right now... I asked for the store number and the managers name... the baker guy says... "I can't give you that information" ... I'm like why not... I then asked him how i can make a formal complaint... he said there is a complaint card... i said can i have it... he went looking for it... THEY DONT HAVE IT... how convenient.... he then gets me a number to call... i then asked for the name of the manager and store number again... i asked probably 7-8 times... finally another worker gives me the name and store number... The store number they gave me was 1070... i looked it up and it was a pickering store number... and the name of the manager they gave was "Shannon Frazer" who knows if it was right!!!??? I hope tim hortons and the owner sees this.... What really got me upset was how that asian lady (probably 18-20 years old) spoke about a customer in front of another customer.... and how the manager couldn't even come to talk to a customer... how pathetic... how do these people get hired! THIS HAS BEEN MY WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! the store number when looked it...
Read moreThe worst Tim hortons in Ajax! I gave this place a couple chances but no more! After reading the other reviews I know its a serious problem with the staff/employees. Today i went through the drive-thru and the first lady said my total really fast and so i thought she said $1.19 so I looked for change and handed it to her. She then goes really rudely and loud “its $1.90!” So I said ok my bad dont get so mad, and gave her more change. After practically throwing my leftover change back at me she left and another lady came to hand over my steeped tea to me, and while i was trying to put my tea in my cup holder she gets mad and says “next customer!!!” Like relax lady i cant drive while holding my cup. They dont even give you a few seconds to pay or to keep away your food/tea/coffee, they want you like a robot zooming out of there fast. I know they have certain stats to meet as to how fast they serve clients etc BUT please put a little effort into customer service. Management really needs to re-train the employees at this location in order to not loose all the regulars that may come here. This is actually one of the least busy tims I have seen and i now know why. Im a regular tims customer and the other stores in Ajax are not like this at all. I did not get a look at the names of the two ladies who rushed me off today (because I was told to basically get the F out), but its whoever was working there today around 1030 am shift (november 9). Please give these ladies some training on how to talk to customers and basic etiquettes so that you stay in business! I work in customer service my whole life and this is not acceptable at all! Read moreAgree with everyone here saying this location has the worst service! 9am Monday morning I get that the crew probably didn't want to work, but you guys just dont mess with customers' COFFEE to start their day! On a MONDAY morning. Just minutes ago today, I drove by, for some reason lady taking the order misheard my order for steep tea and yet gave black DR which I almost spit out almost heading to 401. I can't comprehend how one can mess up a person's order when in the payment window they asked me again what my order was. White lady does not pay attention. Indian lady in the window was rude, and only saving grace was the Filipino lady (maybe manager) who knew a thing or 2 about customer service. No apologies whatsoever, but this store clearly need better people who CARE ENOUGH not only about performing their jobs but who would be competent enough to take people's order PROPERLY. Sure, it is a small thing to complain about a $2 coffee but how the rude staff ruined the start of my week is huge. Do better, please.
