Boston Pizza — Restaurant in Alberta

23rd Dec, 4 of us visited at BP Okotoks around 9 pm. It was my first time visit at BP and it might be last for me. I had a terrible experience. Right from the beginning it was one of the worse service I have ever had. After got our drinks we had to wait around 15 min to find someone and place our order. no complain about food. food was great. It was Pasta night so we order 3 pasta and a thai chicken bite. though one of my friend complain his pasta was very less salt.

the plate was cleaned may be after 20 min from the time we finished our food.

after finished our food we asked for our bill to a waitress but she never show up. Then we called another waitress who was standing beside us with a bucket of bottle beer. I asked her if we can have our bill? But her attitude was like she is drank. And then I saw her drinking a bottle of beer and some other drinks in a tiny shoot glass!!! I personally work in a restaurant as a manager and I don't think any restaurant in the world allow their staff drinking on duty

Whatever After waiting 15 min more we found a boy who came with a tray to clean our drinks glass, so I request him if we can have our bill. But unfortunately we haven't see him any more. around after 35 min a tall white shirt man who was chatting with that drank waitress all that time came to us with our bill!!!! His dress looks he is a senior staff. But seriously?? ground floor was full of customer and this two was having a good time here upstairs (we was sitting) with DJ music without any customer.

Took a group of 35 students here last Tuesday during a slow lunch hour at the restaurant. I called ahead to let them know we were coming and they prepared pizzas for us ahead of time. Service and food were good. However, before taking my students there, I looked on their website and found a buy one get one half off deal (this is under promotions for the Okotoks location). Nowhere does it clearly state that this is take out only. I'd been to other BP's to dine in the past year and had seen that promotion going on. So, I calculated the total cost with the promotion and had students give me the cash beforehand to avoid 35 people paying with the machine. Long story short, I get a $425 bill for 12 large pizzas. The server told me the deal was only for take out. I called the manager afterwards about it, explained that it didn't stipulate on the promotions page that the deal was only for take out. I told him I didn't expect or demand BP's to do anything but asked if they would consider it as I was on the hook for over $125 because of the larger bill. I've got three young kids and our family is on a single income. He told me his manager would call me Wednesday about it, and this is the part the irks me...still no call. I would never recommend this place to anyone that I know. Every time I order from them the portions get smaller. Among other problems. I usually don't like to call and complain but I had a big issue the other day and I called and I spoke to the manager. The manager did nothing to fix this. They simply said oh I'm sorry to hear that so I said if you like I can just grab my food orders from Calgary on the way home from work. And he said that sounds fair. I would have expected them to offer to replace it or something. I won't get into it because somehow my reviews keep getting deleted. But there were many problems with this order. In my eyes it was not edible. And I won't get into all the other problems either for fear of this review never seen the light of day. But I am very disappointed in this restaurant to the point that I would rather be highly inconvenience then have to deal with them again. If I told you the issues I had with them you would most likely not want to eat their yourselves. I did however share my opinion with the manager and he didn't seem to see a problem with it.
