Went in November 10 in the evening to get a couple burritos. I got one spicy chicken for someone else, and then asked the female server for a recommendation for a meat option that wasn't spicy. She told me to go with the Ancho Pork. I did and found out when I got home and took the first bite that it certainly did have spice, and I couldn't eat it. I went back a little later to get something different. I explained to her. She proceeded to stand there and argue with me about how it was not spicy. I asked her for another burrito. She rolled her eyes, threw the burrito I returned to the side, marched to the other side of the counter and said, very rudely and annoyed, "So what do you want?" There was another customer in the store. I picked something else, yet she continued to berate me about how the Ancho pepper is not at all spicy. My research and palate said differently. She made such an unprofessional, rude scene that I told her I would be happy to take a refund instead of a new burrito, and contact the manager another day, because quite frankly I couldn't believe her behaviour. She made the burrito and then changed her story from multiple times telling me how the ancho pork tasted, to telling me that she had no idea because she doesn't eat meat. She gave me the wrong wrap, told me I couldn't have refried beans, and barked the choices at me.
I noticed by reading other reviews that management doesn't respond to negative reviews, only positive. The last negative review responded that I can see was three years ago, so it's obvious the management only cares about the customer experience when it benefits them.
They can keep their rude servers and mediocre burritos. I'm happy to give my money to other food places in town that respect the customers that keep them...
Read moreBased on the previous review, the manager needs to rehire because I can definitely confirm that the lady who worked there & served us was very rude & did not want to do her job. Idk if it's true but she also told us 1.5 hours before closing that the dinning area was closed off & we could not eat inside... So we had to eat our messy quesadillas in the car😑. Her name started with a P. She was miserable & unwelcoming. She had no smile on her face, didn't say hello to us, she seemed irritated to have customers come in to order dinner. She had already mopped the floors 1.5 hours before closing, obviously customers are going to come in & walk on the floor.... Usually mopping is done at closing time.
She barely put any meat on the quesadillas (because it seemed she was short of meat). I asked for half a spoon more & she charged me extra for them! Some of the meat we preferred was unavailable, we opted for others but she made it seem like we were being a nuisance because she didn't have enough of the meat to make the quesadillas.
The quesadillas had too much veggies & not enough meat ratio. I don't think I want to return to this location unless actual changes- ie better employees, customer service & food safety. It was also quite pricey for what we got. 3 quesadilla was over $50!! Not to mention that she did not wash her hands from coming out the back & working from the till to making each dish🤢.
When my 12 year old makes a comment like 'she obviously hates her job, or her life'... That's pretty severe to me because that's how he is perceiving a working employee in...
