COBS Bread — Restaurant in Alberta

This place is awesome. Incredible quality baked goods with outstanding service at prices that are pretty close to cheap, particularly when you consider you're getting something that came out of the oven an hour ago. Also consider that this review is coming from someone who honestly doesn't really like their regular bread. Virtually everything else they sell is a fantastic treat and they have A LOT of stuff aside from just sandwich bread. Pizza buns, scones, amazing focaccia, baguettes, buns, pizza crust, you name it - it's great. This business owner is a constant fixture at any & all community events in Okotoks, as well. I hope this business does very well and it feels good to spend money at a business that's a responsible corporate citizen. GO SHOP AT THIS...

Walked in and was greeted right away by a lady behind the counter. And she offered to help.

Ordered some cinnamon buns and normally they are all the same size but this time I got 6 different sizes and none of them look like you would pay for them while the taste is great when I pay for something I expect it to look good when I open the box.

We also ordered bread rye and sourdough both were great and taste was on point but unfortunately the cinnamon buns left a sour taste in my mouth.

I would recommend another location due to the attention to detail I feel...

I got a free offer to try Cobb Bread, I am not really a big consumer of sweet pastries. I tried their butter tarts as my mother used to make them when I was a kid. I had to throw them out, for what they lacked in actual filling they more than made up for in sugar content. I guess the Cobb stance is if it is not appetizing just overwhelm it with sugar and everyone will love it. I for one will not be shopping there, and not recommend them. I do not want to elevate my blood sugar any closer...
