McDonald's — Restaurant in Alberta

This is the worst McDonalds I’ve ever seen/been too. To start it off if I could give this a -15 stars I would. it was the worst experience ever. To start with we arrived at the drive thru first then waiting 3 minutes and at that time 2 cars have gone thru and ordered. When we went to take our order the guy taking orders sounded as though he had marbles in his mouth, many times I said “you need to speak up I can’t hear u”. I repeated my order 4 times at which point he was still unable to enter it. At this point I was begging to get frustrated it was a very simple order 2 6 piece chicken nugget meals and one junior chicken meal, with a poutine. Now as I’m begging to come frustrated as women comes over the speaker and makes an attempt to fix the problem, we where then asked to pull forward at which time we were asked to repeated our order 2 more times for clarification. I mentioned to the young man standing there that he’s gonna have to speak up in the drive thru which then he quietly replied “oh sorry and he laughed”. Now you’d think after roughly 10 minutes of them trying to enter this order that the food would be ready when we arrived at the next window but NO it wasn’t we had enough time to nearly sing the 99 bottles of beer song. While watching traffic line up behind us. We sat there watching a lady fill the drinks which then she spilled our drink, you’d think she’d clean the side of the cup or get a new one. Wrong she then handed us our drink that was sticky and had juice running down the one side. Although the food was mediocre my fries were calling for a lifeguard because they were drowning in gravy. One of the 6 pieces of the chicken nuggets must have played lifeguard and attempted to rescue my fries because it was no one the be found not in the box, but in the bag. It’s fair to say it’s MIA. Worst McDonald's ever. Only 1 person ahead of you and they make you wait 20 min for 1 sandwich. The guy ahead had 1 coffee. Thought it couldn't get worse but it did on my next visit. Had a young kid getting orders together who had no clue what he was doing. Had to go back 3 times for missing items. No napkins in the bag. Was a dine in order and they just crammed everything into bags. Alot of other customers seemed to be having the same experience with incomplete orders. Nobody was helping out this kid who has no idea what he's doing. Unfortunately I've had a few really bad experiences with this staff member who just doesn't know what he's doing - I blame management who should know better then to leave this kid by himself to handle all the orders when he obviously can't do the job and they can see it when orders are piling up - order slips are getting lost. This place is a chaotic mess most of the time. Adding on another bad review....it just keeps pulling up. I ordered a mcdouble no pickle and I got a mcdouble covered in mac sauce and lettuce. I waited 10 min for anyone even to acknowledge the fact I was coming up to get a replacement for a wrong burger. I seriously don't know how this place can get worse but it does.....all the time.....Despite all the wrong burgers and horrible experiences I only come back because my young child loves McDonald's despite all the really bad times. As a late night treat, my son wanted to get some food from this McDonald’s. After receiving his order, he realized the burger was prepared incorrectly so returned to ask for a new, correct burger. He was flat out refused and told to eat what he was given, by an employee named Ankit. As you can imagine, he was pretty astounded, and then angry. He asked again and got the same answer. When another worker came out, he then asked her if she would make the burger over, and she also refused. After grabbing the burger and storming out, my husband, who drove our son to the restaurant had to go in and reorder and pay for the same burger just to get our son what he had wanted. What sort of restaurant is this that doesn’t give you what you order and then refuses to give you your correct food? This is not the first time that these workers have been astoundingly rude. A few months back, the same second late night worker refused to take our other son’s order because she stated that the “burger machine” was broken. Our son works there, that isn’t how the burgers are made. The broken burger machine was the employee. I am just flabbergasted that this McDonalds would employ people who willfully treat people with such disrespect. This is disgraceful behaviour.
