Subway — Restaurant in Alberta

I hadn't visited Subway in at least five years. The last few times I went, I wasn't impressed with their food. But today, I was really craving a sub, especially since I heard they started using fresh-cut deli meat. So, I decided to give it another shot for lunch.

I wanted to use the drive-thru instead of going inside, so I checked and found out that the High River location had one.

However, finding it was a bit tricky. You can't just drive into the parking lot; you have to go down the street, turn a corner, and go behind the building. And the drive-thru isn't really meant for big vehicles. By the time you make the last turn, you've already passed the menu board and ordering spot. Whoever planned this drive-thru didn't do a great job. Just moving the menu board a bit closer to the front would make a huge difference.

But the lady who took my order and made my sub was fantastic. She was super polite, very thorough, and quick without making me feel rushed. When I went to pay, she had a big smile and was incredibly polite.

As for the food, I've always liked their Cold Cut Combo, until it became more like the Slimy Cut Combo the last few times I went to Subway. This time, I ordered the Canadian Classic with their fresh deli meat to see if it was any better. And let me tell you, it was miles better than what I had before at Subway. I'm beyond angry with this Subway location. The staff gives me a hard time for my order and how I like it. I order the same thing every time and ask for it made the same way. The staff get really snotty with me and then will leave my food sitting not wrapped so I can not pay until they are done with the persons sub behind me. So my hot sub is now cold. It's not about the cost, I'm willing to pay for the extras. It's the fact that I get attidude for ordering what I love. I had a wonderful lunch experience at this Subway! The staff was extremely friendly, welcoming, and attentive. My sandwich was prepared just the way I like it – fresh, perfectly balanced, and full of flavor. The veggies were crisp, the bread was warm, and everything was neat and well-presented.

The restaurant was clean, well-maintained, and had a comfortable atmosphere. I noticed the team working efficiently and handling every customer with care and professionalism.

Definitely one of the best Subway locations I’ve visited – great service, great food, and a team that truly cares about customer satisfaction....
