Wendy's — Restaurant in Alberta

I don't know what has happened to the Wendy's lately, but it has significantly decreased in customer service and quality in the past year. Being a young adult myself, I am very supportive of having youth working in the fast food industry. However, my past two experiences have been nothing short of frustrating. My first experience, my husband and I went through the drive thru order a simple chicken nugget meal to then be asked to pull to the side and have the employee bring me the food when it was ready. We wait in the parking lot for over 5 minutes, so I decide to go in. The employees act completely surprised and didn't know about my order {no record of it}. And then scramble to get it started for me. I requested a refund and had the employee insist on me waiting finally getting our meal 10 minutes later.

In addition, the second experience topped it all. An older gentleman and I were next in line. A bunch of teenagers were goofing off in the back and laughing while only ONE female teen was at the front taking orders. After 10 minutes, the older gentlemen left and I was next. I personally had to ask another employee to open up a second till as the one was flustered from a past order. Finally I get to the front and as I'm about to pay, I notice a customers debitcard is still in the machine. The employee then LEAVES before making my payment and walks to the tables of people asking around for whos card it is. He finally comes back, forgets to take my payment until I mention it. I finally get my order {I asked for chicken nuggets and fries} am midway out the door when I realize they put no fries in the bag!!! I could not believe it. Yet again, I had the employees scrimmaging around trying to get my order correct and I left never planning to...

GO FIND ANOTHER WENDY’S - JUST RIPOFFS, BAD FOOD, AND DISAPPOINTMENT HERE! I do love Wendy’s, and I’ve had some great food and service at this location years ago. Just moved back to town and had a terrible time here. The drive-thru lights were off and the menu lights were turned off making it impossible to read. I knew what I wanted though, and didn’t think anything of it. Was handed a cold burger and cold fries at the window. But nowadays a combo meal costs almost $20 …and I was not about to pay that for cold food that had been sitting around. Went back, asked for fresh food that was hot and the guy looked at me like he was gonna shoot me between the eyes. In the end, he obviously microwaved the burger and put my fries back in the fryer so they were inedible from soaking up so much extra grease. Yes, 100% disgusting food, 100% a complete rip-off. Go...
