Probably the WORST ever restaurant I have ever been to. If I could write it as ZERO stars, I would. The most Major thing that caught my eye: 2 Family members got Food Poisoning. Never eat here, and I will never again. We went twice, once in December, and one on April 21st. Here is my rant on December:
Service: Poor, but fine, the waitress was a little bit unhappy.
Cleanliness: There was a broken plate, which they did sweep it up. Food on table and seat. The cups were dirty, also plates. Pretty poor if you excluded the waitresses mistake of dropping a plate.
Food: Most food was good, except the Mexican style food (Cannot remember what I got) but was very gross and couldn't eat it. I would rate it a 3/4.
Here is the rant from April:
Service: Service was very poor, treats 12 year old children like they are 5 with the "And What's the Magic Word????" manner when ordering drinks, trying to be the parent. They'd also skipped us when we were ready to order food.
Cleanliness: Again, very poor, unwiped table and seats, uncleaned dishes.
Food: VERY poor, chicken tasted chewy and reheated, Stirfry tasted ok, but the cauliflower and chicken were chewy, microwaved, and tasteless. Much like what you'd find in a grocery store and just reheat it in the microwave. The lettuce chicken wrap and salad - was the WORST, 2 of my family members got Food poisoning from most likely a contamination of cutting raw chicken and using the same knife to cut the lettuce and or the cutting board without getting cleaned - or cleaned well in between.
In conclusion: The new owners have probably been cost cutting just to get more profits. I will NEVER eat here again and I would recommend you not to. The better place is Vintage Tap house, which is 100% better than this place, and across from Shoppers, which is very close to this cost cutting place. Also, food was very expensive at $22 just to get food poisoning. $5 for a non alcohol Shirley Temple with not much grenadine.

Read moreWe went to this restaurant because we saw lots of advertising in local tourist pamphlets and saw that they had all day breakfast** (after promising our kids pancakes or waffles for dinner from another place we didn't realize closed at 2pm).
After the initial disappointment of no breakfast being available for our kids, our sever kindly checked with the kitchen to see what they could do and they were able to make French toast and bacon for the kids which was SO lovely (which is why I've given any stars). Unfortunately the French toast tasted like garlic so my daughter wouldn't eat it. My husband ordered the "Deluxe" cheeseburger, which was about the size of a McDonald's patty on a giant dry bun - albeit they were generous with the lettuce and tomato on the bun. My mother had burger of some sort with mushrooms and she would have liked to ask for mustard because she found it quite bland and later realized that it was likely because the bun was completely dry. My food was hands down the best at our table and very mediocre but felt like a safe option when I ordered (hot turkey sandwich, mashed potatoes and vegetables). Had our server returned after dropping off our food we would have said something however we never saw her again; they were somewhat busy, but she wasn't alone and the restaurant is not huge. We finally were able to ask for our bill from someone else and thankfully my mom paid which took the sting out of having a poor meal.
After all of this I went to check the reviews and found them wildly mixed. If you're like me who reads the reviews and wonders, "how bad could it be when some people give it 4 and 5 stars? Let's take a chance!" Don't. Save your money, save your stomach. As my husband said the next day "At YAVIS, Deluxe Cheeseburger digest you!"

Read moreMy husband and I went to this restaurant based on the reviews and we were rather disappointed. The food itself was good home cooked food and reasonable portions but the service was dreadful. We walked in behind a young family. There were 6 tables that had been vacated, but not cleared. Within minutes of our arrival, there was a line up of 5 other parties behind us for a line up of 7 parties waiting to be seated. My husband who used to work in restaurants got a cloth from the hostess and proceeded to clear off 5 of the 6 tables and wipe them all down so that we all had a place to sit. The hostess stood there and watched while he did not lifting a finger to help. he piled all the dishes on the remaining table. The young family who was waiting ahead of us left saying that their children needed to eat and that if they couldn't even find the time to clear tables, how long would it take to get their orders and ultimately their food. Two of the parties behind us did the same. We got seated at one of the tables my husband cleared and the remaining 3 other parties were then seated as well. We sat there for 10 minutes waiting for our server and another 30 minutes for our salads to arrive and yet another 30 for our meals. We asked for the manager to come to see us and he refused saying he was too busy. There was one waitress, a lady we estimated to be in her 50's who was flying all over the place by herself servicing most of the tables. She looked exhausted and overworked. There were 3 people standing at the back by the kitchen (presumably the manager and other members of the "family" who owned the restaurant who watched this poor woman, but did very little to help. I may give it another try to be fair, but it will be with incredible hesitancy. Rather...
