Father’s Day June 2025 I am very upset about our dinner experience. We had a reservation for 6:00 PM, but the staff couldn’t find our name in the reservation book and gave us a hard time before finally seating us. The hostess was unfriendly and very rude.
We noticed that no one came to the two other tables near us during our entire visit, even though the host made it sound like they were taken. We arrived at 5:40 PM and left at 7:40 PM yes, two full hours and spent most of that time just waiting for our food. The service was terrible, with a long wait between the appetizers and the main course.
What really upset me was that our server never acknowledged the delay. She didn’t say it would be a moment, didn’t check in on us, and didn’t seem to care at all. At one point, I was resting my elbow on the back of the chair next to me, and another waiter noticed that we still had no food on our table. That waiter asked if we had eaten, and when we said no, she kindly went to check and told us it would be out soon.
When our own server finally brought the food, she didn’t apologize she just served the dishes and walked away like nothing was wrong. After we finished eating, she never returned to our table. I even spoke to another group of four nearby, and they said they were dealing with the same issue.
When our server eventually came back and asked if we needed boxes or anything, I told her no, that I was ready to pay one bill. She didn’t come back for nearly 30 minutes. When she finally did, my dad told her off because we had already said we were ready half an hour earlier.

We made reservations but were offered a table right next to another group when more intimate tables were obviously available. Sat in the chairs and could feel springs sticking through them, not comfortable at all. Waiter did not know what whiskeys were available behind the bar, Black Russian served with no cherry or stir stick, Gin and Tonic served without lime. Ordered appetizers, waited too long for them to find bacon wrapped scallops were over-salted and bacon was not crispy. Hadn't even finished the aps and main course was delivered. Ordered rare steak which was cold when it was served (though vegetables were hot). Was then asked if I wanted it reheated or a new steak (how do you reheat a rare steak and keep it rare??). Second steak took over 20 minutes to arrive, my friends were just about finished eating and when it was served while it was hot it was not rare, in-fact very much medium. Returned that steak too and as friends had now finished eating declined offer of another entree. While we finished the bottle of wine another unasked for steak appeared, at the chefs insistence apparently. At this point the very last thing I wanted to do was try another steak. Read moreAbsolutely horrible experience! Waited over an hour for a table when the place wasn’t even that busy and there were open tables everywhere. Then it took 15 minutes to get two drinks and our food took over an hour to come out. To boot, our server was nowhere to be found for the latter part of our dinner and we had to flag down other servers to inquire what the hold up was several times. When we went to speak to “management” about how dissatisfied we were with the experience and that it had essentially put a damper on what was a wonderful evening with family and friends , the Chef (Matthew) was who we were directed to speak to, and he couldn’t have cared less and was ridiculously unprofessional. He had the gall to say that he didn’t believe it would take that long for the food to come out (essentially stating that we were lying), asked me what I thought was appropriate action to take for this (What - that’s YOUR job?!), ended up not offering any discount at all for the horrible experience and then stated we could “write a review”. I was a server in my youth and I currently work in sales so I am out with clients at restaurants often and I have NEVER had an experience like this. If I could give negative stars I would.
