Went to this restaurant twice. The first time was for Wor wonton soup and a bowl of hot and sour soup. It wasn't great but was passable. Ten days later went again for the Wor wonton soup and was very disappointed, must have been a different cook but a lack of different ingredients and flavour spoiled the soup. We also ordered a plate of Kung Pao chicken which was on the spicy side but edible and tasty. We put in an order for a take out at this time of five items, Spring rolls, Dragon Special FRied Rice, Prawns with Black Bean Sauce, Honey Garlic Pork, and another Kung Pao Chicken. WHAT A SHOCK LATER, The only ones that were good were the Spring rolls, and the Prawns with Black Bean sauce, even though there was a major lack of PRAWNS. The rest was all CRAP. No FLAVOUR, NO GARLIC, NO SPICE IN kUNG PAO CHICKEN, IT WAS BLAND AND TASTELESS AND UNEATABLE. There went a pile of money down the drain. This place should not be in business, they wouldn't last three months in any major city in this country. I would never go back to this restaurant and hopefully you people out there get the message...
Read moreThe food is a little oily and the flavouring is actually a little blander than traditional American-Chinese dining. The Hot and Sour soup was a little off as well. It was filling but not what I have come to expect of Chinese dining. The restaurant was clean and had good sections allowing for larger groups or different styles of diners to be sectioned off. They have multiple TV"s up playing sports for the most part. There are some screens which they use to create more privacy between diners. The overall colouring is rich reds and browns. There are paper lanterns and a large ornamental cloth dragon hanging from one wall. Bathrooms were clean. Staff were friendly but clearly there was a lack of people in the kitchen as both take out and in restaurant orders were delayed. Parking was good, as it is part of a large strip mall. Overall an ok meal but not a...
Read moreThe first thing my husband and noticed when we walked in was how overwhelmed the hostess was. Once we were seated it was easy to see why. The wait staff had no organization and the confusion was palpable making it difficult to get basic water refills or extra utensils without having to get up from the table and find an available staff member.
The food wasn’t much better. 4/5 of our party members had the buffet. The green beans tasted of chemicals, the coating on the ginger chicken was soggy and sliding off the meat, and the spring rolls were honestly disgusting. The one party member who ordered from the menu seemed to have a decent meal, but it’s hard to say if it was good as the bar was set quite low.
I would definitely not recommend this restaurant for its food, but if you’re looking for a nice bathroom to use than this...
