Long Johns Pub — Restaurant in Area C (Silver Star)

My daughter went to a ski camp at Silver Star that was catered by Long John's Pub over multiple days. Because she has celiac and cannot eat gluten she and I were nervous about how things would go. She had the best dine-out experience she has ever had The staff were professional, friendly and kind to her. They greeted her each meal and brought her a separate plate. The staff gave her confidence that her food was safe. They also provided the best GF meals she has ever had. Big, substantive and healthy for an active teenager. I cannot thank the staff enough. Had a horrible experience with the owner John here, we were a group of 4 people sat at a 6 person booth. After 15 minutes we were asked to move to a less desirable stool table to make room for a party of six at the booth. We politely declined as the new table was significantly not as nice.

The owner responded by aggressively yelling at us that “we could change tables or LEAVE!!!” I have never been treated that badly at a restaurant and would never recommend this place to anyone. On top of that the food is subpar from previous visits.

Excellent pub with amazing service! We went to pick up our race packages for the S2S nordic race and hand a hankering for a beer. Found Long Johns in the corner by the market. After ordering some drinks the waitress let us know about the specials and we were sold on the burger even though we just ate. It was excellent and hit the spot. They had stella in a bottle and DINO SOURS my favorite. The burger was excellent and we had some onion rings as well - hopefully they'll help speed us on the down hills during the race. :) Highly recommend Long Johns if you're up at the Star.
