Harvey's — Restaurant in Aurora

I went into the store today 04/28/24 at roughly 8:00 PM EST. I was greeted kindly by Manager (I know her name but out of respect will not disclose). She was quick to ask me and my partner what we would like to eat. I myself did not want food. However my parter wanted the Angus Beef Patty without a bun (she has sensitivity to food and doesn’t like to eat multiple foods mixed into one). I find this a fairly normal request as some are not allergic to gluten but have intolerance to it. The manger responded very adamantly that she does not sell a patty separate. She told me I would have to buy a whole burger and an extra patty to get that (upselling). I found this very inappropriate and communicated how I have ordered this at this location before and others. She continued to ask a colleague who said no and they she doesn’t think they sell that. The answer was hesitate and I can almost guarantee that she felt pressured to say that. I asked for a manger I know (Karen move). I was upset and just wanted a burger for my partner. I then had her tell me that she is the manager ( I believe that). However there was a owner in the back that was “too busy” even when I asked to speak to them. All in all we need Harvey’s to rather make this a actual product for people like my partner or teach Mangers and staff...

Worst harvey’s i’ve ever been to. If I could give 0 stars I would. Firstly, the lady behind the counter taking my order had a horrible attitude, like for no reason at all?? I was being nice to her when I was ordering and she was just insanely rude and off putting if i’m being honest. Secondly, I ordered a buffalo chicken poutine and it came with 3 nuggets covered in sauce??? It’s advertised as cut up pieces of chicken in sauce. So I don’t know if it’s just false advertising or they were too lazy to cut up the chicken? I think it’s the latter. How are you even supposed to eat that? Lastly, the women’s and men’s bathroom were DISGUSTING, like outrageously disgusting. Seriously, it reaked of god knows what in both bathrooms. No paper towels, no soap. Again the worst part though, was the deadly smell. I have never been to a fast food place with such a disgusting bathroom. Just an overall odd experience. I love harvey’s, but I will never come back to this location. Going to stick to the Newmarket one from now on. I hope this place...

The “manager” Raman took my order while counting cash, then placed two buns into the toaster without washing her hands or putting on gloves. When I called her out she said no problem and asked the other employee to remove the buns and replace with two more. When I asked for a refund instead, both proceeded to explain to me it happened because they were low staffed. I mentioned that isn’t an excuse for being unsanitary which seemed to upset her. She told me to take my money and go elsewhere. Couldn’t stop thinking about what else is going on back there while people aren’t watching. And this is supposed to be the so-called manager?
