Kelseys Original Roadhouse — Restaurant in Aurora

Kelsey's has been one of my favourites for a few years now - regardless of location, I am always so impressed with the quality of food and great service. It is absolutely no different at this new location - this was our first visit but we will definitely be back! We sat outside on the patio so we didn't get the chance to see the inside. For the patio, I just highly suggest doing something about the three booth tables you have with no coverage. The sun is only getting stronger and dangerous (unfortunately) - we love the sun, but by the time appetizer hit our table we had to request to move under an umbrella because it was unbearable. The staff was absolutely understanding and quick cleaning the other table so we could move. Within our time sitting in the sun, one other table had left and two others requested they wanted indoors. It is absolutely not your fault - but just a heads up from someone who's more worried about the general dangers of sitting in the sun for so long like that + you'd be able to sit more guests if indoors and outdoors are balanced appropriately as well as everyone's enjoyment of sitting out on the patio comfortably. To the kitchen, thank you and keep doing what you're doing if not better! To the staff, thank you for your kind service.

When we arrived at 6 PM Sunday night for a table of 7 people which I had called in to reserve on Saturday night at 6 PM I was told that they did not have a record of my phone reservation and tried to turn us away (as it turns out we should have left for somewhere else). After waiting quite a time while the hostess checked with someone else we were finally told that they only had a booth for 4 people. Thank goodness 2 of our friends had to go home so there were only 5 of us to be seated, however 5 adults do not fit comfortably in a booth for 4 people which is what was offered. The booth we had was in the corner next to the bar and was extremely noisy and despite us being crowded in, the noise level was much too loud to carry on a normal conversation without shouting. The drinks and food took a very long time to be delivered and when the food was delivered it was cold. The chicken tenders my 15 year old grandson ordered were was too chewy so he left 2 of then uneaten and didn't want to take them home and the fish and chips my wife and I ordered were basically tasteless. I had the most wonderful dining experience at Kelsey's thanks to our waitress, Jennifer! From the moment we walked in, she greeted us with a warm smile and made us feel incredibly welcome. Her attentiveness throughout the meal was outstanding - she anticipated our needs and ensured our glasses were never empty. Jennifer's knowledge of the menu was impressive, and she helped us choose the most delicious dishes that catered perfectly to our tastes. She even accommodated a special dietary request with grace and efficiency.

Her friendly demeanor and genuine interest in our dining enjoyment made the evening even more enjoyable. We felt like valued guests throughout our visit, and her impeccable service truly made a difference in our overall dining experience.
