Tried this place for brunch yesterday. The decor is nice and relaxing. The place is mostly full with no wait line. Took us awhile to get seated as all the waiters seem busy. They don't have a designated receptionist. All tables are served by specific servers, so if the server is tided up on something, you will be waiting forever. We waited a long time for the server to take our order. We tried to get other server to order, but I guess that's not an option. Food is really average. I ordered the Canadian breakfast. The scrambled eggs are overcooked and dry, French toast is soggy. My family tried the Crepe and Egg Benedict, They looked okay. The menu has good selection. It's nice to see kids options as well. Portion is good, not too small, and not too big that you will be wasting food. I would have gave it 4 stars if they were more transparent with the extra charges. Cheese ($2.5), peppers ($1), mushrooms($2), are all extra. They don't even put that much on it. I get it, that's how they make money in these places. But $3.50 for a tiny cup of maple syrup? That's ridiculous. They charge premium price for the breakfast, should I expect maple syrup to come with my French toast? I am okay to pay for it, but disclose the price when I order it, not when I get the bill. So two adults breakfast with one kids meal with taxes and 18% tips come to close to $90. I don't think it's worth it. Will I come back, may be, but I will be a lot more careful on the extra charges.

I highly do nott suggest this place. The first time I came here, the skillet was delicious! Decided to come here again and to my dismay, this will be my last. We waited 40minutes to get our food (pretty empty restaurant) and the food still arrived cold. I ordered eggs benedict, which is supposed to be poached eggs. What I got were soft boiled eggs.. Also the chicken and waffles gives you ONE chicken tender. Also, I dont suggest getting a coffee. The iced coffee did not taste like coffee and I got the pumpkin pie latte, but it tasted like the mug wasnt rinsed properly, so it tasted like soap. The waitress replaced it with another drink (a regular latte) but still upcharged me for the pumpkin pie What wasnt nice was that they dont disclose whether things are extra charge. They charged us an additional $2.50 each person for a TEASPOON of cheese on top of our potatoes. You NEED to disclose extra charges. Food isnt good anymore, very sad day

My first time visiting this restaurant, that is a very popular spot. You are unable to make reservations and after church on Sunday we showed up. There is a capacity in the dining room of 84 patrons and I think we made 84 because four people left ahead of us. My daughter and I counted, and every table was full. The atmosphere and decor is quite modern and friendly. The staff are very friendly and very helpful with suggestions. They are quite proud of what they have to offer on their menu. They were able to make suggestions. There was so much food on my griddle that I couldn’t eat it all. I am a great eater usually cleaning my plate, but in this case, it was just too much food. It was very tasty. My wife and girls loved their meals as well. We were there to celebrate a birthday, a moving away from home, and Mother’s Day. If you’re contemplating going out to eat all four of us highly recommend this restaurant.

We typically go to the one in Newmarket (which we love - it has the best service!), but we were near this one and decided to pop in for brunch with my kid. It wasn’t super busy at the time (around 9:30am) and we were seated immediately but it took a while for our server to come to our table. Then it took a while for our meals to come. The restaurant got busier as we sat there eating and it seemed that they were in a rush to get us out (even though we started late because it took so long to take our order and get our food and even though we weren’t there for very long). The minute I put my fork down, someone (not our server) stuck their arm out in front of my face and asked to clear my plate. I had my plate taken away but asked to keep my coffee as I wasn’t done with it. I needed to go to the bathroom so asked my kid to ask for a take out container (they hadn’t eaten their fruit bowl and wanted to take it home) and the bill while I was gone. My kid asked for the bill, packed up their leftover food, and went to the bathroom too. When we got out, our table had been completely cleared and they were wiping it down for the next guests. They had just assumed we were done eating while we were in the bathroom and had taken everything on our table away. I had to ask them to bring back our packed up food and remind them that we hadn’t even paid yet. They half-heartedly apologized but didn’t seem to care. Definitely an annoying experience as it seemed they were just focused on churning people out of the restaurant.

Food itself was ok. Had the Avocado Lox (avocodo lox toast was good, home fries were bland) and my kid had the Lighten Up (overpriced for eggs, home fries, and fruit). Despite this, the overall experience would’ve been fine if it wasn’t for the...

Edit: Nov 26 Decided to give this place another try since a few months has passed since my first bad experience here. Food today was okay - not bad but nothing good for the prices that they charge. We were offered cheese add on ($) our potatoes - to which we said yes. We noticed that the potatoes came out WITHOUT cheese and told our waitress to which we were told she would not be able to take it off our bill and that we would need to be funded in cash for the their mistake.

When the bill came, we paid and the waitress quickly ran off with our receipt, without offering us a copy of our bill and obviously without offering us our refund for the FOOD WE DID NOT GET. Whatever they can keep the $3 but once again I do not recommend this place. Not only is it mediocre food with not very good service but it also appears to scam people SO PLEASE MAKE SURE TO ALWAYS CHECK YOUR RECIEPTS (if they of course end up giving it to you since they try to hide receipts for some reason).

Unfortunately I didn’t have the best first impression from this establishment. Ordered a vanilla latte bowl - the cup had lipstick stains. I asked for a clean cup, which was brought to me without hesitation but unapologetically. This appeared to be a normal occurrence. After this of course I was closely inspecting the cutlery on my table - the forks were not clean. The food tasted fine however I do not think I will be returning...
