Super disappointed in my experience at this location tonight. When walking in the person behind the counter was organizing their takeout bags and asked us to wait. After waiting for about five minutes, he finally came over and greeted us. My husband asked for a small meetball sub and the employee asked which bread he would, my husband responded with “surprise me it doesn’t matter” and he rolled his eyes. He then asked what I wanted and I explained I would like a large assorted sub. When we got to placing my toppings, I asked if he could please put lettuce and tomatoes and cut the tomatoes in half. He cut the tomatoes and placed the tomatoes down first and I politely asked if he could place the lettuce first instead. At this point, he took my tomatoes and threw it off onto the counter and slammed the drawers under the counter to go to the back to back to get more lettuce. He came back and threw the bag of lettuce on the counter and stormed off. At this point, another employee had to come from the back and immediately apologized and said he was in a bad mood because their systems were down. As a customer, I am extremely disappointed with the way that I was made to feel when simply wanting to customize my sub, a place that is used to customizing subs for everybody. Read moreAbsolutely exceptional experience! The food was great and divine. The staff were incredibly helpful and were very friendly. Being in the lockdown, many people don't tend to go out for food these days, instead they order from home (nothing wrong with that). But let me tell you, this place was refreshing! The quality of the vegetable and ingredients made every single bite heavenly! I've always had Mr.Sub growing up as a kid. My father used to bring it for my brother and I when I was 5. After the main location near my house closed in Richmond Hill. Mr. Sub never tasted the same, no matter how many locations I went to. After 25+ years, this has to be the best Mr. Sub I've ever had. I always come back for more!! I raved about it so much to my family that the next day I came to pickup 6 12" Subs (true story). I wanted to thank the staff for making me reminisce of the times I used to have and for providing such a high quality product made with love and care. Whoever prepared it seemed to think I'd not notice that my sandwich hadn't been grilled either, but it was obvious from the shape of the cheese, as well as its temperature. I ordered a super sized sandwich, but they simply gave me a large... The brownies I got were also nearly frozen. Will not be eating here again... Neither in store, pick up, nor delivery.
Edit: doesn't seem I can reply to their update. I've never seen a more bold faced lie. It absolutely was not as they said. Moreover, they happen to look up video footage of my order long after they'd closed in the middle of the night? Really? If you're gonna lie, at least don't make it so obvious. The cheese in the sandwich wasn't melted at all, and there was no paper bag. This was a problem with the restaurant, not the driver. Also, don't worry about deleting your reply.
