I usually liked this place to buy chocolates and stuff. The staff is lovely to deal with as well, that can't be denied. However we bought a cake from their bakery section yesterday and the clerk made a comment that she was unsure if it was good or not, we thought she just meant the taste of it so we still bought it and she still sold it to use. I ate the side portions of the cake, it was a bit dry but I didn't think it was awful. however my sister went for some later in the night and took a bite and the center was filled with MOLD, she vomited it up immediately. Why are they selling food that they clearly know is very old ???? I'm so grateful we didn't feed any of it to our babies. Not to mention it was being stored with all the other cakes in the bakery section along side all the other cakes and pastries. Like please just throw spoiled or old food away instead of trying to squeeze every penny for profit. Im a bit disappointed as I did enjoy visiting here every now and again, and I don't think I will return after this experience as I no longer trust what they are feeding us. PLEASE teach staff, "when in doubt, throw it out!" To save anyone from getting sick. For such a sugary baked good to get to the extent of mold it has to be sitting...

Read moreThe shop is well stocked up, however you have to check expiry date on the products as a lot of them are out of date. The prices are expensive, I prefer to buy polish food from Italian markets, they are much cheaper there. The cashiers are very friendly and helpful, but the owner (shop manager) is very rude and disrespectful. When I went there last time I witnessed how he was shouting at the employee in front of customers. I really felt bad for the lady and regret now not saying anything to him. I am from Poland and I know the customer service back home was and still can be bad. Man, let me remind you, Communism in Poland is long time gone and moreover we live in Canada. It's a customer's market and employees no matter what times we live in...
