Twisted Indian Fusion Street Food — Restaurant in Barrie

I so wanted to try this place out. so my bf said okay ask if they have vegen food . So soon as I walked in the door I tell my bf omg it smells so good you can just smell this lovely aroma of spices and fresh vegetables. Anyway I walked up to the counter to see what they had this wonderful cook asked me is this your first time here? I said yes , he welcomed us in. I asked do you have vegen food ? He said yes . So he showed us what foods we can have that are vegen. So they had everything for what I like to what my bf liked I don't like hot spicy foods, my bf likes his spice and extreme hot foods . Anway I was so happy that they had vegen cream garlic sauce I was so excited to try . So my bf and I sit down as we eat you can tasted how fresh the food was the texture with every bite was so good its like all the spices and different flavors of each bite gave that wonderful sensation to your Palate. Also as we sat there enjoying our food the cook come to ask how we liked the food we were so satisfied and full. You know sometimes when we eat out we would get full but some places when we eat at it would be so greased that I would feel so weighed down and blah well this time after eating at twisted Indian off the street I was content and satisfied and full and it was not greasy were I felt blah. I highly recommend this place if you like to wow your Palate the texture with every bite of flavors and the aroma as you eat it's so delicious 😋 now I can't wait to take my kids there for...

I didn’t want to post the review but I have to, after few bad experiences. I didn’t like the way lady treat some of the customErs.Feels like she does not want to serve the customers or may be she is too tired to serve the customers , even if she is tired or not in good mood , customers still need to get the service they deserve after they pay for food. I have been to this restaurant several times , but I only remember the lady giving a negative vibe , first time I just ordered a tea , she refused as tea needed To be refilled , I didn’t mind and left , next day also when I came back just for tea , she told me cardamom tea is empty and offered me other tea , I refused as I don’t like the other tea, she then gave me just the hot water as she might not feel like refilling it. Few days later , I went to order something else , she didn’t even say hi or hello , simply asked me “ u want yo order something ? “ then she started making the food , didn’t even bother to ask me about the choice of sauces , closed the lid and hit the debit machine.it doesn’t cost anything to give a smile or greet someone nicely, customers pay for food , they don’t come to the restaurant just go...

First time here, I'm not a huge fan on fusion type foods to begin with but with 5 starts on Facebook and good reviews on google I gave it a shot.

Of course wasn't expecting it to be authentic but was expecting a bit of an Indian flavour

Meal - butter chicken dinner

Some weird yellow rice defiantly not Indian rice

Butter chicken was red lacked butter or flavour

Channa was ... interesting

Raita - just plain yogurt 😂

Chutney - was literally just red hot sauce

THIS IS MADE FOR A CANADIAN PALET defiantly not someone that enjoys flavour 17$ waste of money

The naan wasn't even naan or even a pita

Samosas we're ok - chutney is still so laughable no wonder the reviews aren't by Indian people :( should have gone with my gut when I saw the bad reviews from them saying it wasn't even close

For a fusion place it's not even good didn't even touch...
