(If I could give 0 stars, I would) I will start by stating that I have worked in the restaurant industry for 5 years and my fiance is a manager at the melting pot. My family and I dined at this location on Sept 08, 2013 and I can honestly say that it was the most frustrating dining experience of my life. My fiance and I arrived before my parents and we decided to have a drink while we wait. When I asked our server (Jasman) for a recommendation on the beers on tap she said that she didn't know what they had and would come back with a list. When she came back she handed me a piece of receipt paper with the names of the beer scribbled on it. This was strike one and it would have been easily overlooked as long as the service remained friendly and attentive. When the rest of our party arrived my mother had a coupon for free cactus cut potatoes. She went up to the front desk and asked the gentleman there to check and see if it was still valid he looked at it and confirmed that it was but offered to bring it to the back and check with a manager just to be sure. She agreed and came to join us at the table. The gentleman can back and assured us that the manager said it was valid. When Jasman came over to take a drink order for the new guests we attempted to order some steak bites along with the free chips. She immediately appeared put off when she saw the coupon and after examining it for a second she told us that it wasn't valid. We told her that we had already checked with a manager and that we had been told it was valid. She stated that she would ask again and walked away. She didn't return until the appetizers were ready she dropped them off (without cutlery or side plates) without a word and walked away. My fiance had to call her back and ask her to take our entree order since we were all clearly ready to order. She took our order with a look on her face that made it evident that she would rather be doing anything besides serving us. By this point everyone at the table was feeling extremely uncomfortable so we asked for a manager. The manager came out and apologized. She also brought us cutlery and side plates after we asked. I assumed that she would be assigning a new server to our table to resolve the conflict. After she left we proceeded to finish our appetizers without a quality check and all of our glasses were empty for 15 minutes before we called the manager back over and explained that we had received no service since she had left 20 minutes ago. The manager again apologized but offered no solution to the problem so we had no choice but to ask for the bill for what we had already consumed and leave, I was surprised when she brought the bill over and it was full price for what we had consumed. No discount whatsoever for our distress. We paid and left and I can quite honestly say we will never be back. We filed a complaint on the Boston pizza website and supplied a callback number and email. We received an email from Andrew Jenkins whom I assume to be the owner stating that this "is not typical of a visit to our location, but it will be used to improve training". This left us with no incentive to return or recommend it to friends. The level of disrespect we experienced as paying customers was shocking to me. I understand that this is one of the only sit down restaurants in Beaumont but the lack of competition is no excuse for the way we...
Read moreAbsolutely horrible, disappointed and everyone still went home hungry.
Came in for a visit with our family, we are regulars at the south common location... but il not be returning to the Beaumont location.
We sit at our table and wait maybe 10 minutes for our waitress to come take our drinks, all good we ask for some cactus cuts and a couple beers along with some juice and pop for the kids. She walks away..... maybe 20 minutes later we get nearly burnt cactus cuts, beers that weren't even close to full and the kids drinks still took another couple minutes...
By this time we're well ready for food so we put our order in.
I'm not kidding IT TOOK NO LESS THEN 50 MINUTES for our waitress to even bother checking on us. Our table and the 3 other tables in the WHOLE PLACE had empty glasses and where looking around wondering what's going on.
She finally comes by and by this point we're just straight up complaining saying where's our food? We could just grab the bill and go if it's going to take any longer.
She does pretty much what I'd expect anyone to do and blames the kitchen and says our food is just coming up now.
So we decide if it's up now we might as well eat.
Keep in mind we didn't even get our second round yet, 2 seconds later she comes back around the corner with out food! The kids at this point are all loosing it so we're glad to just get something in them.
She comes back and fourth with our food somehow incapable of carrying more then 2 plates at a time.... which ok sure maybe if you're new I guess that makes sense. She's got a guy helping her now, he drops off the rest of our stuff and we ask him to take our old cups and ask him for water (no second round for us I guess)
At this point I finally look at the food we've been delivered.... and the spaghetti has dried on top, the fries are way over done and the burgers are cold.... but the lasagna is hot....
So we send it back to get heated up with the gentleman that helped us earlier and he comes back VERY fast with warm food (great microwave skills) at this point we hand him BACK the empty ketchup bottle we had originally been given (grabbed from the wrong pile maybe?)
At this point he leaves for a couple minutes and finally comes back with our waters and ketchup! we have our meal finish most of our stuff that we where willing to eat, kids are too far gone at this point and just need to get to bed.
And we get the luxury of..... waiting.... again... another 15-20 minutes sitting waiting to get boxes and pay and we finally become rediscovered like the lost city of Atlantis we get the opportunity to pay and leave.
Not once was there any kind of real acknowledgement that something was totally buggered up and this was a bad thing that happened. So.... I can only assume this is just how they...

*Date: Aug 2 2025 around 11:53 Location: Boston Pizza, Beaumont, Alberta
Incident Description:
On my family and I visited Boston Pizza in Beaumont. When ordering our pizzas, we specifically requested no bacon on one of the pizzas. However, when we arrived to pick up our order, the pizza had bacon on it. We called the restaurant to report the error and request a remake without bacon.
The manager answered the phone and became visibly irritated when we explained the situation. Despite our clear instructions, the manager argued with us, claiming we must have "forgotten" we ordered bacon. We politely reiterated our request for a remake, but the manager's tone became increasingly rude and confrontational.
The situation escalated to the point where the manager hung up the phone on us. This behavior is unacceptable and demonstrates a complete lack of customer service skills.
