Undoubtedly the worst Donair experience I’ve had in a long long time. First the TV is blaring really loud Instagram reels. I saw a few people in the restaurant sitting with empty tables when I walked In, so I asked how long the wait was as I had somewhere I needed to be. The fella at the counter told me 5-7 minutes. I ordered a super with cheese ($15 and it was the size of a regular at most other Donair places I’ve been to). Fries were $7 and pop was $2. All in all, $25 which was poor value given the size of the Donair. I asked if they use seasoning salt or just plain salt for the fries when ordering because I can’t do seasoning salt. He said they typically used seasoning salt and I said if he can do normal salt, I’ll add fries. He said no problem. First issue arose when his 5-7 mins turned into 17 minutes. I had somewhere to be and this was pushing it. I’d have skipped if I’d known I’d be waiting nearly 20 mins. I opened the fry box upon sitting down and found seasoning salt. I brought the fries back and said I didn’t have time to wait for new ones, given the initial wait for food. He said no problem, I can have new ones in 3 minutes so I waited. I sat down and ate my Donair which is where the second problem was. It was awful. Besides being small, it was the most saturated roll of grease I’ve ever touched. I’ve attached a photo of the exterior coated in grease after opening it. The pita was absolutely saturated at the top and the bottom with only a small portion in the middle not soaking through. Finally, after I’d waded through this undersized, soaked thing (took probably almost 10 minutes to navigate as the grease made the whole thing fall apart, it was a godawful greasy mess) the fries weren’t ready and I left them behind. Would not recommend. I’d have rather not eaten, and won’t be back. Best of luck if this is your next...

If you're craving a taste of perfection after a long day at work, look no further! This place has become my daily spot since moving away from northside edmonton (Swiss Donair is still my favourite). From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with the tantalizing aroma of freshly roasted meats and warm spices. The staff here are not just friendly; they're like family, always ready with a smile and eager to craft the perfect donair just the way you like it. Now, let's talk about the star of the show – the donairs themselves. Each bite is a symphony of flavors, with tender, succulent meat wrapped in soft, pillowy bread and topped with a mouthwatering array of fresh vegetables and savory sauces. Whether you prefer classic beef, chicken, or a veggie option, there's something here to satisfy every palate. What sets this location apart is their commitment to quality. You can taste the care and attention to detail in every bite, from the perfectly seasoned meat to the generous portions and thoughtful presentation. Plus, they're always innovating, introducing new flavors and specials to keep things exciting. And let's not forget about the sides – crispy fries, golden onion rings, and creamy garlic sauce that's downright addictive. It's the perfect accompaniment to your donair, rounding out the meal and leaving you completely satisfied. In short, if you're in need of a delicious pick-me-up, this Top Donair is the place to be. With impeccable service, unbeatable flavors, and a welcoming atmosphere, it's no wonder this place has become my daily ritual. Trust me, once you try it,...

Greeted with an Afghani chai tea as I came through the door, I missed this place so much! Not only was the chai delicious, but I loved speaking with the owner about his experience in town with the restaurant closure when he could not afford the rent and his recovery to be able to fight and reopen. I told him it would be my pleasure to give a review on Google, as I was incredibly disappointed when I had seen that it was closed down and if I can help business pick up so that they stick around, then what is two minutes of my life to do this? I haven’t been able to eat out in a long time because times have been tough for my family, but I will definitely be spending more money here now that things are looking up again! I love reading the pictures and articles on the wall. So inspiring 💕 I always get the donair poutine which is the best in the entire Edmonton area, but their donairs are top notch, as well. In a time when everyone is putting less and less on their plates and increasing prices, I know I will always get a great value for my money...

ordered 3 donairs. 2 super and 1 regular to go. when we got home, we were very disappointed as they all w looked the same size. we have to pay an extra dollar for cheese and extra dollar for extra sweet sauce. most donair places have so much sauce that it needs the bag to keep the sauce in, but not here, it was almost dry. on top of this we found the ladies hair in one of the donairs as an extra bonus. we felt ripped off. the super was smaller than a bottle of pop. for 15 dollars a 8 inch donair and 12 for a regular, the amount of meat was disgustingly stingy. the fresh mushrooms were obviously canned. the extra costs and small sizes with added employee hair makes it one of the worst donair places we have ever tried.
