I walked to this location for pasta Tuesday. When I entered, I was seated by a woman with glasses and sandy blonde hair. She left menus for me at my table, and that was the last time I saw her. I sat there for over 10 minutes while she chatted with the people at the other side of the room. I left in frustration without being offered anything to eat or drink.
I then went to KFC next door, but was told that they wouldn’t have time to make a batch of chicken for my order, so I went home.
I hadn’t eaten all day, and I had nothing at home that I could quickly make for myself. Boston Pizza was the closest place that could deliver. Reluctantly, I placed an order for a pizza.
Approximately 30 minutes later I received a phone call from the manager who told me that my pizza would be late because she couldn’t get in touch with her driver, fearing an accident. She said that she would call me back if it gets too late. While on the phone with her, I made my complaint about the experience I had in the restaurant. She then offered a $50 courtesy credit to use in store.
Sure enough she called back with the bad news. After explaining to her the situation, she offered to deliver the pizza herself after closing, and that I wouldn’t have to pay for it while still retaining the $50 credit. Thankfully a driver did arrive with my pizza just before closing.
Two days later I decided to use the credit. I called the restaurant to place an order, but no one there knew anything about the situation, so they contacted the manager who offered the credit and free pizza, to confirm with her. To no surprise, she knew nothing about talking to me, or giving me a $50 credit and a free pizza. Rather than fence with them on the phone, I thought it would be best to just write a review about my entire experience with this location.
When dealing with a business that offers you anything as a courtesy, be sure to collect any information to verify your claim. Never take someone’s word just because they sound honest. It says a lot about a business when the owner only responds to...
Read moreI would like to begin this review by stating that our server was absolutely fantastic. She was very attentive and was able to guide myself and my friends through the menu exquisitely, while also providing us with great recommendations from the new winter menu. She also ensured to consistently check up on the table and give refills whenever it was necessary. The food was certainly nothing to write home about, but it was perfect after a long night of being outside. The same certainly could not be said about the manager that confronted our table when we were harmlessly playing a game. My friends and I were bored and figured we would pass the time while we waited for our food by attempting to fill a glass with as much water without it spilling. Prior to starting we ensured to lay down napkins under the glass to minimize the spillage that would occur. Whist we were doing this the manager came up to the table and stated should any damages occur we would be required to pay. We obliged and stated that we were certain that nothing would be damaged as a result of the game. This was when the manager asked "what if I were to kick the table right now." She then proceeded to walk to the back and cuss about us to whom I presume were her employees in the back. Now, as a manager of a restaurant myself I could certainly understand the frustrations that can come during a shift, but to berate your guests while we are still in hearing distance is incredibly unprofessional and exceptionally rude. To address the concerns of breaking the pitcher that was provided at the table. I certainly do not understand how pouring water into a glass could possibly result in any breakage occurring. In fact, presenting the threat of kicking the table would likely cause more damage to your own restaurants property then us pouring water into a glass. All in all I'm fairly disappointed by the way the manager chose to handle the situation, should she have simply asked us to stop, we...
Read moreTo start I’ll say I love Boston pizza. Boneless wings can’t beat them. But this Boston pizza and the service is absolutely atrocious.
Saturday at 630 I called to order delivery. Was told it would be an hour. Awesome I’ll wait.
A hour and a half later it never showed up I have it extra time just in case they are busy but I called to see and was told
There was a mistake and my phone number and address wasn’t taken down but the order was. So some one erased it and I guess Boston pizza is the only place In 2023 that doesn’t have caller I.d to look back and see the number that called.
So now at this point a hour and 40 minutes late they tell me they can offer a slice of cheese cake and after denying that they offered a credit on the NEXT order and I said no I want it on this one. They gave me a credit and sent the food.
Another 45 minutes later I got the food. I ordered a chicken Caesar salad and other items but the salad they forgot the chicken and the dressing that makes a ceaser salad ceaser. Service plus quality was highly lacking.
The hostes plus delivery driver should bother be checking the order
Then the delivery driver comment on my tattoos and said he was thinking of getting some and said he should just get his head and face done and comment saying “and then be one of those people who wonder why they can’t get a job” as a heavily tattooed person with a federal job those types of comments are unwarranted and unnecessary. Keep it to your self.
Next time I’ll just go to trusty dominoes...
