Loved this casual spot in Bayfield and if your in the area definitely stop for some seafood and ice cream. I was recommended this place for the fried perch and was glad to get this in an order of the fish and chips. The fish itself was fried beautifully and very clean for those that don't like a fishier taste. The fries were plentiful for a good value. All in all it was a good dish if I was being nitpicky I almost wish there was a bit more seasoning to the batter. However, I absolutely loved the shrimp and grits! This is my recommendation the shrimp was fried and seasoned perfectly. The pico, tostada, and grits all complimented each other for one delicious meal. And if you still have room for dessert they offer ice cream with a long list of flavors

Last year I got a chili cheese dog. I have been thinking of it ever since. You know when you try a place once, and it is amazing and you worry when you go back it won't be the same? I am happy to say that that didn't happen. So even though it would have been better if your bad relationship never happened, I am happy to say that it IS better that my relationship with footlong chili cheese dogs did happen. I forgot to take a picture of the actual food, but I have attached a picture of my empty carton. Also my strawberry milkshake is in the corner there.

A hidden gem! A memorable experience is behind this unassuming but friendly yellow storefront. I love the unique menu. The tacos are delicious and you have to try the gritz pulled pork dish. It’s not often that I try something completely new… you tend to see iterations of many similar dishes. The gritz was a wonderfully unique experience made even more special by the fun picnic table vibe. They even have a well organized recycle program for restaurant waste. Oh and make sure you try the ice cream!

We stopped in Bayfield on our way back from Goderich. We walked the area and saw this restaurant and our first thought was that it would be great food. There was a decent lineup and a good amount of people sitting to eat. Staff was friendly enough, with a lot of food options that looked promising. We ordered chicken tacos, fish tacos, poutine and two hotdogs. When we recieved the food the first thing that we noticed was that our tacos, mainly the soft shells were ice cold. Nearly frozen to be honest. Bottom of the box was also filled with water, I am guessing from the slaw. The gravy on the fries was below par and the cheese wasn't even close to a melted state. Again, we had high hopes for this food stop. In the end it was a huge waste of about $55. We nearly threw everything out and moved on. A lot of good reviews for this place, I am not sure what happened. Though after looking I did see other reviews complaining about the same ice cold tacos. I would suggest a review of the preparation in making...

Stopped by for lunch! Got the classic hotdog and some fries. While the service and vibe was there... For a spot that specializes in quick handhelds… I was a bit disappointed in the food.

The classic dogs were “foot long” and around $7 after tax (from what I can recall). The hotdog tasted blanched lol, I wish it was grilled more! The buns were really good, but I thought they would be the same size as the hotdog wiener (they’re not, they’re normal length vs foot long buns).

The fries were really disappointing for me. Not crispy, but also not soft? Weird texture, broke apart whenever you used a fork (I know, typically eaten with hands, but they gave forks too).

Overall, I would return since it’s the only spot for a quick “cheaper” bite.. And the back patio is really nice!! But yeah still disappointed...

Saw a long line up at this place so lined up. Was in line for approx. 45 minutes maybe more… there were only 2 kids serving ice cream. Wanted yogurt ice cream. I ordered. The staff was friendly enough taking your order. Waited around the corner even longer to get my order . We were next in line to get finally get the order THEN they tell us they just ran out of yogurt bars. Talk about frustration!!! You wait so long to be told last minute “Sorry no more yogurt ice cream”!!! They told us we can have regular if we want… not good enough. Not to mention the money I got back was sticky with ice cream… the person handling money is handling the yogurt bars and who knows what else … Not a clean place … BAD SERVICE. The health department needs to check them out! STAY AWAY!!!… go to the another ice cream...
