I did not receive pleasant customer service when in this store for the first time.
I called the store on the morning of May 7th to inquire about an exchange for a Pandora bracelet I had just received. The owner was absolutely wonderful on the phone, friendly and accommodating, promising to find me the right fit.
I arrived at the store shortly after this phone call. I was met with no greeting or formality and a very cold shoulder from the owner. She opened the door while giving me cold stares and proceeded to walk away with not even an inkling of direction or friendly customer service. When I realized which counter the transaction was taking place at, I walked over there. She aggressively pulled the bracelets out-no verbal communication at all, until I asked about sizes. Her answers were short and unfriendly. Notably, 3 sets of patrons entered the store during my time there and they were met with friendly smiles and a great customer service attitude.
When I left the store, I sat in my vehicle and realized the bracelet she gave me was scratched and stretched out. Keep in mind, the one I brought in was brand new, still in the sealed plastic. In the end, I intentionally directed the conversation to have her agree to give me back my brand new bracelet. She indicated, with a show of attitude, I could just send it back to Pandora as an online return. I should note that the other associate in the store was very friendly and looked confused over the communication. It seemed to be out of character for the owner? I sure hope this isn't how POC are treated in her establishment.
Thankfully, I came across a Pandora store who very graciously provided me with an exchange and was kind and professional in their interaction with me.
I never write negative reviews but this one had to be addressed. It is absolutely the unfriendly, bias attitude I am referencing in this review, the bracelet itself is not the issue. The micro aggression was very obvious and not appreciated. I am a visible minority. While this is not apparent on the phone, there is something to be said about a place of business who treats patrons with little respect because of a their nationality or perceived economic status. What an awful discriminatory attitude to have for a place of business. Such a shame because I have been looking for a reputable jeweler since moving to this part of the province. I did not expect to be met with racism and discrimination from a "reputable" jeweler with "great" reviews. It is...
Read moreWell, it's been a couple of years since I posted this review regarding Diamond Dreams Jewellers. I just want to say that the service just gets better and better. Sabrina and her team are amazing to work with. They are patient when called for...sometimes it takes me a while to make a decision. The store is simply classic, variety is over-the-top and quality is unmatched! There is NO other Jewellery Store that even slightly compares...in my humble opinion!!!

Drop off repairs and they're ready in a jiffy. It is the most professional, yet personal shopping experience I've ever had. The ladies at Diamond Dreams know it all and do it all! I love this store and the ladies that...
Read moreI came to Sabrina around a year ago to get a custom ring made. I only had a vague idea of what I wanted - Sabrina was helpful and kind at every step, from brainstorming the ring’s design, to coming up with a 3D prototype, to actually creating the ring. She worked with me to help the ring meet my expectations and to fit my needs perfectly. I appreciated her patience so, so much and she made me feel safe to speak up about what I wanted to alter in order for the ring to be exactly what I wanted it! While I forgot to write this review sooner, almost a year later and I’m so happy and satisfied with her work! I wear the ring all the time and it is incredibly comfortable and beautiful! Thank you from my family and I for such a...
