I’ve been to this establishment maybe 3 times now, but my last visit will be my last. When you walk into the restaurant no one greets you and there are usually a number of people waiting for take out orders. With that, I’m always very patient and also trying to figure out where I am in line or even if there is a line. People who frequent this restaurant know to go to the far left to place their order (no signs stating this) i’ve figured it out now that I had walked in a hand full of times. The few times I’ve been there I had to wait easily 45mintues - 1hr. Which I can appreciate if I’m told that. I thought I would be smart and the last time I was there I called in my order for which I was told 10-15 minutes it would be ready. When I arrived I did my normal standing around a few minutes trying to figure out where I am in this non existent line. When I get up to the counter, My name wasn’t added to the order book so, they looked over at the phone log then added me in with a star and highlighted. Anyway, long story short I still waiting over 45 minutes in the restaurant plus the 15 minutes I was told it would take when I placed the phone order. Okay, so it’s taking a while longer. Not enough to complain about but then people walk in and I swear with in minutes of placing their order. their chicken which is cooked directly in front of us is handed to this walk in customer. I’m so frustrated. It’s clear this is an on going issue . when I started to get mad I could see the man starting to give it back to me with out knowing what my issue was. He wasn’t there when I walked in or even when I checked on my order, but was quick to jump down my throat. One of the ladies tried to deescalate the situation , packing my order and getting my sides ready. I appreciated that. as I’m not there to fight or to argue. I just want to take my order home to my family and get on with our evening. Each time I went, we had the BBQ Chicken, potatoes & rice. All was good, we enjoyed our meal though the containers of hot sauce are very small. The lack of care / organization behind the counter is enough for me to stop going. Read moreI telephoned you ten minutes after my husband picked up our order. You did NOT give a receipt, well, you are responsible to give a receipt. We paid 48.00 and change. By the way, I had to rebake your full rack of ribs. They had no flavour with absolutely NO sauce, and were under cooked , and not cooked thoroughly. I recooked them. Sad... My zucchini and eggplant was actually like rubber. It was worst than rubber. I had to recook it. It was so bland and just horribly cooked. I have pictures. Any how, legally you need to give partons /customers receipts. I am picking up my receipt tomorrow, please have it ready. I live in the community, moments away from your establishment. Read moreDO NOT ORDER IF YOUR ORDERING FOR A LARGE GROUP OF 30-40 PEOPLE. I had an event last weekend with 35-40 people, I booked through the catering process, made all the arrangements well in advance, then prepaid my order the night before to ensure it was all going to run smoothly my pick up time was arranged well in advance 1:30. So I sent my driver to pick up food for 1:30pm (as scheduled), when he walked in the chicken was raw on the grill and was told 10-15 mins. 2:00 pm not ready, 2:30 pm just got the order. At this point I was furious as I had guest waiting for food. No courtesy call to say there was an issue or delay. Nothing! No explanation given to the driver only they were busy. After waiting 2 days for the manager to call me back, I had to call him back and the excuse was they had grill issues. Once I recieved the food we had one tray of dried up chicken and one tray of good chicken. Only to hear from the manager they had one tray ready and cut up waiting for the next 5 chickens an hour later. The manager offered no compensation except a dinner if I wanted it???
