I usually have great experiences with Firehouse, the food is always amazing. Tonight I had a disappointing experience. I ordered 5 subs through Uber Eats which was not delivered entirely. I double checked my receipt and confirmed that I had placed my order of 5 subs correctly and not 4 - and I was right. The receipt they printed that came in the bag of food delivered only said 4 subs…. I proceeded to call Firehouse and let them know that there had been a mistake with my order, my Uber eats receipt said 5 subs were purchased but the receipt that came with the meals only had 4. They REFUSED to provide any assistance with this at all and told me to contact Uber Eats … this wasn’t of any help because it was Firehouse that misread my order and didn’t make the sub, not Uber Eats forgetting to deliver something. They admitted that they hadn’t even made the sub. Read moreAfter a far from amazing interaction at our Firehouse subs location closest to our home, Firehouse Subs in Bradford went above and beyond to ensure that they turned my experience into an incredible one. The staff here are extremely friendly, attentive and a pleasure to deal with. This location is clean, employees have sense of pride, and safety protocols were up to the highest standard during my visit. Huge thanks to Jay answering the phone taking my order and having it ready for pickup as I had to drive from Newmarket to get the order i needed for my team. Jay, Ashley, Bonnie and Aidan....Thank-you for perfecting the 9 Brisket Sub Combos ....My team and I agree that they were THE BEST subs that we've ever had. Met the Restaurant Owner Jonathan and he's got an excellent attitude and its evident that he makes customer experience from his team and interactions with guests a priority at his location. As a son, brother and a grandson of the 3 local fire departments and a lover of submarine sandwiches. I was happy to help the local merchant and our local fire departments as they advertise.
However this evening I attended the Bradford location.... Very badly managed in comparison to Newmarket which at lunch hour moves dozens of customers in and out. I was 25 minutes with only 1 customer leaving before me many customers waited along with the food delivery people. (who commented how bad this place is for making them wait) **All employees wore mask. However they had hair hanging out of mask and laying below mask and dropping on food. (watched young lady remove her hair from a sandwhich) Asked why they dont have hair up or in a net, young lady told me to never come again.. Guess what.. I through food out, then bought Mr. Sub coupons to give away to families...
