Update: our order was $32.00 and they would only refund us $25.00 because apparently there was an issue with their machine. We don’t even care about the $7.00 at this point my boyfriend was so angry that he took the cash and left. Do not order from here. Rude, thieves and hostile. Never have I experienced such unprofessional behaviour from an establishment.
Terrible, terrible customer service. Their food is amazing but we will never order from here again. There was a mistake made and I was given a dish that didn’t come with the combo I ordered - my boyfriend went back and was told that it was their mistake, but that they simply couldn’t fix it and that they would make things right “next time”
We explained that we were hoping to have the correct order this time, as I could not eat what was given to me. Mistakes happen that’s fine, but they weren’t even willing to replace the mistake with the correct order. I don’t understand this at all. My boyfriend left as he didn’t have my debit card to get a return, so I called them to let him know he’d be back in a few minutes so that we could get a refund on the incorrect order.
I was at first talking to a younger sounding man, and he quickly passed the phone over to someone sounding a lot older once I informed him who I was and why I was calling. This man screamed at me over the phone, saying that their chicken chow Mein ( what I ordered ) on the menu really stands for chop suey (what I got by mistake), and that it was my fault for not knowing the difference. He told me they were the same thing, and that there was nothing they can do.
When I asked him to stop yelling at me, he told me that he wasn’t yelling, and that’s “just how his voice was”
I would steer clear from this place and go literally anywhere else - they will berate you and make you feel stupid if there is any order discrepancies. It’s a shame, because their food...

However, I ordered from them recently for a party and spent over $250 but the food was bad, there was no taste for the Singapore noodles and the ginger beef had 80% vegetables and only 20% meat. My guests literally had to dig the tray for the meat and they repeatedly mentioned that the food had no sort of taste, which was so embarrassing for us. When I called the store and spoke to one of the lady owners her exact words were “do you know how much beef costs for us”? Really, who says that? We all live through inflation and we know prices have went up, if your spending more for beef, bump up your prices and give the proper amount of beef. In fact, when I was placing the order in store for my party I’ve specifically mentioned that I wanted more meat and that I will pay extra if I have to but they said they don’t do such thing for party orders but at least give your customers half meat and half vegetables. My fiancé works in the food industry and was talking to some high school kids who frequent the plaza for lunch breaks. He was warned by the kids not to order from Great Wall because “there’s bugs in their food” I guess he thought it was just high school kids being kids. But NO! He bought food from Great Wall and brought it home. Of course I had some, and THERE IT WAS AN ANT WITH WINGS IN THE RAMEN NOODLES AND SESAME CHICKEN!After I already ate a few bites. I’m just so disgusted. The fact that numerous people have experienced this, it’s not just a one off incident type of situation. Apparently it happens often from what I’ve heard now. And it’s concerning. How do they pass their health and safety? I’m so grossed out....
