I recently had the pleasure of dining at. Hay Caramba a Mexican restaurant tucked away in the heart of Bradford. From the moment I stepped inside, I knew I was in for a memorable culinary experience. The vibrant decor, warm ambiance, and friendly staff set the stage for what turned out to be an extraordinary dining adventure. To start, the menu at Hay Caramba is a true celebration of Mexican cuisine. It offers a wide variety of traditional dishes, each meticulously crafted with authentic ingredients and flavors. Whether you're a fan of tacos, enchiladas, or tamales, you'll find all your favorites and more on their extensive menu. I began my meal with their signature guacamole and freshly made tortilla chips. The guacamole was incredibly flavorful, perfectly seasoned, and had just the right amount of tanginess. The chips were delightfully crispy and served warm, making it clear that they were made in-house with care. For the main course, I opted for the chicken enchiladas. The presentation was impeccable, with vibrant colors and enticing aromas. The enchiladas themselves were a burst of flavors, with tender chicken, a rich sauce, and melted cheese that added a comforting touch. The portion size was generous, ensuring that every bite was a satisfying one. The highlight of my dining experience was undoubtedly the service. The staff at Hay Caramba were attentive, knowledgeable, and passionate about the food they served. They were more than happy to answer any questions I had and made excellent recommendations based on my preferences. Their genuine warmth and dedication to providing a memorable experience elevated the overall dining atmosphere. In conclusion, Hay Caramba surpassed all my expectations and delivered an exceptional dining experience. The attention to detail, authentic flavors, and warm hospitality make this restaurant a true gem in the culinary landscape of Bradford Whether you're a Mexican food enthusiast or someone looking to explore new flavors, Hay Caramba is an absolute must-visit. I can't wait to return and savor more of their delectable dishes.

Authentic Mexican cuisine with an owner that cares. Stick to the main Mexican meals like the tacos, burritos, enchiladas, etc., to get the best experience. I don't recommend the shrimp items. Otherwise, the food was great. My wife and I enjoyed the food, it was made to order and hit the spot. Here is my honest opinion as always. SHRIMP INGLES CEVICHE Shrimp marinated with lime, chopped cilantro, onions and served with crackers $15.95. This dish was a let down for me and the wife stopped eating it after the first bite. The shrimp was very chewy, the ceviche was bland and watery. In my humble opinion, the shrimp did not taste fresh as the owner advised. It tasted as though it was thawed from frozen. I am a seafood lover and do not recommend this dish. SEAFOOD COMBO MIX Combo served with 1 Burrito, 1 Quesadilla, 1 Fish taco and 1 shrimp Tostada(make your Burrito and Quesadilla your choice of meat) FOR 1 $22.95 *Upsize your burrito For $1.95. Everything tasted phenomenal except for the shrimp which was on another fried tortilla shell. You get a lot of these shrimp which initially looks phenomenal but what's the point if it doesn't taste good; I would substitute the shrimp for another protein. I don't even remember eating a fish taco, it tasted like chicken. The chicken is marinated and seasoned well. ENCHILADAS Three corn tortillas with chicken or cheese, topped with green, red or mole salsa, served with beans and Mexican rice $16.95 2 HUARACHE. These were outstanding. Definitely order the horchata. The best we ever had and a huge serving. The virgin mojito was outstanding also. The beans are truly special and in a league of their own. Customer service is great. When we ate here on a Sunday, late afternoon, it was not busy at all. Will definitely be back. I highly recommend this establishment.

I ordered the "5 premium tacos" consisting of "pastor" and "cochinita pibil". The pricing was reasonable, coming out to $3.99 per taco before tax but they were quite small. I found the "pastor" to be dry and not very flavorful but the pieces of pineapple was good to see. The "cochinita pibil" was decent, but no where near my top 5. The medium hot sauce I ordered was just okay in flavor but if you really like spicy, there is one that seems to be extremely spicy according to others who tried it. The service was decent but there was some hiccups with ordering something a particular way but it coming differently and not labeling the food properly, meaning you receiving things you didn't ask for or knew was coming on the dish. It seems to be a family run restaurant so it's friendly. They accept cash, debit and credit card. The location is well placed on a main street and with interior design noticeably being a main focus on the experience but also including an outdoor patio in the parking lot with sun umbrellas and picnic tables. Ultimately, the food was lackluster with spotty service but the location brought a higher level of experience. I may or may not return to try something else, but I wouldn't return for the "pastor", "cochinita pibil" or hot sauce

I came here today just after they opened. When I stepped into the establishment with my sister we were greeted with an amazing Mexican Fiesta decorated interior. I was immediately excited to dine in at this restaurant.

Let us start with atmosphere. This restaurant really feels like stepping into a fun Mexican Fiesta with great festive decorations and great Spanish music. However if it is a beautiful day outside they also have a patio for your dining pleasure.

Secondly service, the service here makes you feel like family. Very warm and inviting and they are more than happy to have a conversation with you. The best thing I felt about the service though was the fact that they were happy to explain things that you may not be accustomed to without making you feel stupid. Very attentive and hospitable service that makes you feel welcomed and appreciated.

Lastly food. My sister and I love Mexican food however I usually go for safer options such as tacos and burritos. This time I decided to order things I've never tried before. We both started things off with a tamale. I got the chicken and my sister got the pork. Wow were they amazing. Extremely fresh as my tamale was insanely hot with so much steam coming off of it. Fantastically flavourful with a side of salsa verde which was quite spicy for non spice eaters however it was not just spicy it was very flavourful as well as spicy.

For our main courses my sister got the chicken and potato flautas otherwise known more commonly to non-Mexicans as taquitos topped with lettuce, sour cream, pico de gallo and queso blanco. These were insanely good. Although my sister wished there was more pico de gallo she agreed these were amazing. The potatoes tasted so good that I did not even care if there was meat. Which if you are not into eating meat they have a potato only option and I can guarantee you will not regret ordering these flautas. I ordered the 2 huaraches which is a deep fried corn dough similar to a corn tortilla but much thicker with beans, my choice of carne asada, lettuce, sour cream and queso blanco on top. These were phenomenal. The carne asada is gorgeously tender and flavour packed. Everything worked so harmoniously together. From the crunchy base to the smooth beans, tender pork and creamy cheese and sour cream. I was so happy I chose to try these over my standard burrito order. I also got a horchata, which is a rice milk and cinnamon drink which was refreshing and the absolute perfect delicious drink to have on this hot day. Finally we finished the meal with dessert. As much as I love churros I felt I should try something new so I ordered the pastel tres leches. It was a layered cake with a tangy cream cheese like filling and whipped cream on top finished with a drizzle of dulce de leches and this cake was phenomenal. Not overly sweet but the perfect finish to an amazing meal.

Overall I will definitely be coming back. This was without a doubt one of the best Mexican meals I've ever had. Everything was well made...

We wanted mexican food and thought we would try a new place; however, we were not impressed with Hay Caramba. Allow me to elaborate my three star rating. This is not to offend by any means but to share my experience -after all that is what leaving a review is all about. So, let me begin with the phone conversation I had while ordering. Due to allergy reasons among other reasons, when asked if adding cheese was available the answer I got was: " Yes, you can but our tacos don't come with it. The menu says taco, not taco bell". Firstly, I thought that was rude and unecessary. Secondly, a simple yes it can would have been sufficient. When ordering another set of tacos and asked again for lettuce and cheese, I was replied with: " our meats are marinated where they do not need any cheese. The cheese will ruin it". I asked if it could be put on the side, man answered: "yes, you want your cheese, I'll put your cheese on the side". I ordered a third item on the menu as well. I went to pick it up as they were packaging it, paid and left. We opened it up right away and that is where we first noticed one order was wrong and the other two just did not look appealing at all. The carnitas were so dry - thank God for the lettuce and cheese. And, the other items were not as good either. The items from the menu are not new to us as we have had them mulitple times and these were just not up to our expectations. In addition to that, they were poorly filled. In every taco shop I have been to, the tacos have been overly filled with meat of our choice and whatever topping on top. These were very mediocre to us. Again, as I mentioned earlier, this is not to bash or say it is not authentic -no, none of that. Simply, the taste was completely off for us as well as the presentation. Perhaps today was a bad - who knows. So, three stars because it was not the worst place I have been too but, customer service can reserve opinions - I know my tacos very well and I just simply liked them dressed the way I want. Tacos were under dressed to us and some of the tacos were very dry. Maybe this feedback will help them improve maybe it won't. For those reasons, we will not...
