I placed a mobile order at 6:28 PM and went through the drive-thru to pick it up. I was told to pull aside because they needed more time to find whipped cream for my 1 Large Coffee Frappe with whipped cream and chocolate drizzle, along with the rest of my food. I parked in the reserved mobile spot and waited over 10 minutes before someone finally brought out the food—but not the drink.
Then I was told they couldn’t make the Coffee Frappe at all because the machine was broken, and was offered to choose another drink. I changed it to a Large Blueberry Pomegranate Smoothie, and asked if there was a price difference. The staff insisted there was no difference in price between smoothies and iced coffees, which is simply not true—they clearly didn’t know their own menu pricing.
After nearly 30 minutes total, my drink was still not ready. Other mobile and drive-thru customers were getting their orders, and mine was completely ignored. I finally walked inside to speak with the manager.
To my shock, the manager told me the machine was now working and he could make the original Frappe. So either the staff lied to me or didn’t bother to check. Meanwhile, my food had gone cold, and I had wasted half an hour for a single drink.
The manager showed little concern or urgency and only offered to make me two Coffee Frappes—I only needed one. When I expressed how poorly the situation was handled, he reluctantly gave me a coupon for a value meal as compensation.
Honestly, this experience was a complete failure in communication, accountability, and basic service. If you expect fast food or even just basic courtesy, you’re better off going to a proper restaurant. This McDonald’s needs serious retraining—from management down—to improve service standards...

Forget the fact that prices are stupid, they have become so cheap. Not only were my drive-thru McNuggets cold but they didn’t bother giving me any sauces. When I mentioned that to them I was told $0.75 each even though my 10-pack came with two included in the app. Manager came over and reiterated the same thing. So I left as I was not paying again for something I should have already received. Fortunately my kid was ok using ketchup at home with them, but the cheeseburger - wrapped in a cheeseburger wrapper was a plain hamburger - nothing on it. I will continue to say this on deaf ears - STAY AWAY from this location it is the worst I’ve ever seen - and I’ve been to locations in places like downtown Chicago and NYC….
UPDATE: This location has hit a new low. Placed an order, arrived to curb side and after 25min waiting went inside to find out where my order was. They had no idea and didn’t think I’d placed it - so I showed the the confirmation and that it was paid for. The shift supervisor didn’t know what to do, so I took it upon myself to suggest they fill my order. It took them another 10min to get a small order. No apology BUT they did offer me one extra “free” sauce. 35min to get some nuggets and a couple of regular hamburgers? - I’ll say it again AVOID THUS PLACE.
They’re the only McDonald’s in town and they know it. Service is typically very slow and inconsistent. Orders are wrong far too often, and standard orders too, not special orders. Food is rarely put together with any level of care and is usually warm at best. I’ve never had a...
Read moreMcDonalds Bradford, my last visit there had me losing trust in your location. My son and I visited for an early dinner and some after school play time in the playplace. I can understand this is a time of transition, university students are gone back to school and now you are training high school students some it’s their first job. I had no issue with the wait time to place my order or the lack of knowledge of the employees. I take issue with the lack of cleanliness that has clearly been neglected for a long while.
I asked for the manager as I couldn’t believe my eyes at the build up of black mould inside and around the soft drink dispenser! See photo. Eww. I opted for a bottle drink instead. A big thank you to the Manager on duty who listened and had someone do a surface clean right away.
The playplace was another place that hasn’t been cleaned in a long time. The build up of dirt on slide from hands, hair, dust, and garbage inside the playground was not safe for my four year old to play. We also had an issue with the big kids (12-14yos) hanging out inside the playground, trying to rock the play gym, using the equipment not as intended, and having make out sessions while the little Kids waited for them to leave. Coming out of Covid times and the end of summer time, I would expect to see this play place sanitized nightly and a deep clean weekly.
We would like to return to your location for our regular after school dinner place with friends. I will keep an eye on it to see when we can...
