My fams and I ordered on Ubereats for delivery from BarBQ Kitchen. Everything was well prepared and packed properly. I enjoyed most of the dishes, but did find some lacked the traditional flavour.
Here's what I ordered and how I rate it:
BBQ Dishes: Tandoori Chicken (5/5) Chicken Tikka (5/5) Seekh Kabob (5/5) Rashmi Kabob (5/5)
Recommend all the BBQ dishes, especially the Chicken Tikka. Really tender and delicious!
Main Dishes: Veal Biryani (3/5) Butter Chicken (5/5) Beef Nihari (3/5) Beef Haleem (2/5)
Butter chicken was fire 🔥 sweet and a little spicy and I could make out a little fenugreek. Loved the flavour! The biryani and nihari were okay. Nihari's meat was tender, but the gravy tasted too oily The biryani was meh...lacked that traditional flavour. The Haleem is the only dish I would not recommend anyone getting. It says it is beef haleem, but there was no beef in mine. Also, it was super lacking in flavour. So sad because I love haleem and I was looking forward to this dish the most.
Dessert: Kheer Khas (5/5)
I enjoyed this kheer. Loved the milky flavour and the fact that it wasn't super sweet. Also, loved the nuts in there too.
Over all, I would recommend someone to order from this place (especially if uber is having a special/promo). Just avoid the haleem. Stick to the BBQ dishes and butter chicken, and you'll have a nice dinner. Oh ya, if you order Kheer, make sure you order enough or else your fams will...
Read moreThey have gotten worse day by day. Do not fooled by the reviews. I had ordered a lamb biriyani on Friday. I picked up at 8.00pm. While we were having it, miracles happened..' A Lamb biriyani is without Lamb'. I called them. They asked me to bring the Biriyani for them to inspect. I packed the Biriyani and went there same night. The lady at the reception opened the box and stated " you already ate 30% of it, and we can not give you another one". I shared no one asked to give a free biriyani. My concerns was there was no meat in the lamb biriyani, as you guy's asked to bring it for you to inspect I did. i wanted you guys to ensure customers are not surprised when they start eating. I left the place without taking back my food.
I aske to speak to the manager- the lady shared there is no manager. i asked to speak to the owner, she said the owner does not have a phone number and can to ask him to give a call back. i shared i have left with no option but to write a review...
The lady shared " we don't care about what you post in the review, we are just a staff here" .
Overall, very bad experience and i was having their food for past 7 years on and off.... the quality has come down over last tow years as well as their customer services.
I don't...
Read moreThis place changed its name, wonder why? I ordered the Chicken Biryani, & the chicken Korma. Was not happy with my order, the food was super spicy supposed to medium spicy??? When eating my food I found so many small spice pieces & so many small chicken bones (DANGEROUS CHOKE HAZARD) that it caused me to choke! When I eat food I don't need to be playing find the spice bits or tiny chicken bones that choke because there's no prize in the end? I'll be reporting them to the food agency about the choke hazards the food has! It's sad, & scary to be eating food to wonder if you're going to choke to death? I want to eat food in peace. I do not like looking for buried choke hazards or dig & hunt for dangers. Losing your appetite specially when you bite down on hard chicken bones & other spices as a choking hazards is disgusting & a turn off for getting food ever again?? The meal wasn't worth $20? Best I keep my money & make my own choke free food? If you don't know how to clean & prep chicken you shouldn't cook! The sad , & unfortunate thing is that these are the things that will make a restaurant or break a restaurant? Never going back...
