Fresh Tandoori — Restaurant in Brampton

Back in 2022 my mom was a patient in Brampton Civic Hospital. Both myself and her private at home nurse spent hours by her side and when hunger hit us , our "go to" eatery was Fresh Tandoori. We enjoyed the delicious fish curry, rice and Naan. Fast forward 2025 , my husband was patient in BCH. While he was resting from surgery, I decided to go back to Fresh Tandoori for dinner.

My original choice was shrimp curry. The server informed me that the dish consists of 12 shrimp and I was impressed. However, she went on to inform me that it's actually 6 shrimp that they split in half....WHAT ???? I WAS BAFFLED ! No big deal , I changed my mind and decided to order my old favourite ,fish curry , Naan and rice. I was pleased when the server told me that there are 8 pieces of Basa fish in the dish, awesome !

I'll cut to the chase : I will never go back to this place , ever. Ownership has changed since 2022 and they've raised the prices and skimped on quantity. The splitting of the shrimp should've been my first clue because the 8 pieces of Basa was actually 2 pieces cut into 4 !

In all of the years that I've been patronizing restaurants, I've never been so disappointed and disgusted.

The nerve of this establishment to charge 17 friggin dollars for fish curry that was swimming in mostly sauce is abhorant ! How dare they insult their patrons who pay damn good money to consume their food by intentionally downsizing their portions and increasing the price !

It is obvious that this establishment does not value their customers and they care more about SAVING MONEY , HOW INSULTING!

It will only be a matter of time before people become aware of this SCAM and their demise will be...

Today I pick the chicken breast tikka item and look wise its totally different as mention by them in their live videos but we got is black burn totally burn chicken 👎👎 totally burn taste 👎👎waste of money 👎 very bad burn taste 👎 never recommend this place👎👎👎

Today on 19 april, we call them for yesterday food . As per commitment there employee said , we give you newer order next day and now I call them for that and they said , they dont know anything ….they behave roudly with us over phone ….. One of the worst customer service , they make people fool , the owner make video on tiktok and instagram and said try our that dish or that dish , we try that dish 2 times and many more everytime they gave us different and said this is that its different and worst taste 👎👎 Thats a trick by them for making those sweet videos so customer come and spend their money one time and waste their money on their worst food and then after

The worst food ever tasted in Brampton. I order chat papri, paneer tikka wrap, pav bhaji and diet coke. The only thing good was diet coke! chat papri? alll papri, seemed made inhouse and had so yucky oily taste, hardly any yogurt and mere glimpse of bhalla. Paneer tikka wrap or more like messy puke wrap was loaded with sause and veggies and hard to chew paneer wrap in a stale, soggy chewy wrap. Pav bhaji where pav were dry, stale and cold and bhaji was excessive salty. I like the lime peice you provided with the pav bhaji to wash down the pathetic taste. All of these were bogo deals on skip. I mean just send one, charge even twice but make it good quality. When the taste is good, no one cares about the price and comes back for more. This ruined my night and I just hope I remember the name because when it shows up again on my google or delivery app, I could SKIP through it. Don't know where are these recipes and chefs coming from? Such a disgrace selling stuff that is not even edible. I mean it's a restaurant, atleast try!!!!! The food showed zero efforts on taste, quality or customer satisfaction. I am a foody and always remember the place by the taste they serve but this taste is going to stay with me but not for good and it will be super hard to forget.
