The food was good, and the serving staff were excellent.

However, when our group of five requested to join two tables, the person at the front desk (possibly the manager—his name might be Akram) refused and stated that an additional gratuity charge would apply.

This was one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve had in a long time.

The restaurant does not offer a fine dining experience, yet surprisingly imposes a gratuity charge for basic requests.

This significantly impacted our overall satisfaction and left a negative impression.

Your claim that "no staff attended to us" or that this is a case of mistaken identity is simply false—and worse, it’s an unprofessional attempt to evade responsibility rather than addressing a legitimate concern.

Gratuity is not mandatory, and your attempt to justify it by labeling your establishment as "fine dining" is laughable. The service and experience were nowhere near that standard.

Your staff did serve us, and the gratuity was added without prior notice. Ignoring this fact doesn’t make it disappear—it makes your business look dishonest.
