Have given this Chatime so many chances, but had a really terrible 30 minute wait on Friday that really put the nail in the coffin. If the owners see this, instead of commenting that I'm a fake reviewer and making excuses that you guys are not in the wrong, please just take it as constructive criticism for management and feedback from a real human being who genuinely had a bad experience at your store.
We ended up waiting 30 minutes for our drinks on a Friday night and were not warned when we ordered that there was an order ahead of us for 16 drinks, not to mention there was only ONE other staff working there, apart from the 2 owners (I presume they are since I always seem them there). Please think about spending a little more money to hire more people for Friday night to ensure your workers aren't stressed and overworked and that your customers never have to wait this long again. I felt so bad watching that poor young guy make all the drinks by himself.
For 30 min, we stared at other unhappy customer faces and watched one of the owners continue to take orders when clearly, they had a backlog of orders. Even worse, when the line was taken care of, she just stood there and didn't bother to help make the drinks. It made me feel like this location is most concerned with making money and wanted to seal the deal with customers first, forcing them to wait there for their drinks no matter how long it took.
I watched 2 UberEats drivers come in and were told they'd have to wait 15 minutes (huge understatement) because they were "so busy because everyone orders like 16 drinks." lol, there was ONE group that ordered 16 drinks and you decided to serve them and not tell anyone ahead that you did so. Whose fault is that! It's also a Friday night and you decide to put only one staff on the job!
While I understand businesses have bad days, what really did it in for me was that I feel like this location thinks of everyone as just a number and while they may always be smiling and talking sweet, I know it's just a front. Just look at how they respond to people's criticism on their Google reviews! Calling them "fake accounts" and claiming things "never happened at their store" and making excuses instead of owning up to their mistakes and trying to change things at their store.
Many times before when I came here and said something was wrong with my order, they are quick to assume you are lying instead of listening to your concerns. That is what I don't like about this place and it's sad to say I will never be coming back here again. Might as well just make the extra 5 minute drive to go to Coco in Mississauga where their drinks are A LOT better and they actually care about...

Today I ordered 2 triple and TOTM (passionfruit green tea). The milk teas taste fine, but oh my god, the TOTM was literally just fruity water. This isn't the first time a fruit refresher/fruit tea tasted like this so please do not get them.
Very overpriced bubble tea in my opinion. And toppings are now 90 cents per so I don't know if visiting Chatime is worth it anymore. No matter how many feedback I send in or complain, nothing is changing. Chatime was really my go-to but I'm better off finding another place.
UPDATE 04.28.2022 My review below was posted 3 years ago. I've been a loyal Chatime customer visiting various GTA locations for almost 6-7 years. I used to come to the Brampton location every weekend. However, over time the price and quality of drink is no longer worth the loyalty. There were many times where this location has made my order wrong or the drink itself was so disgusting I could not finish my drink. I always send an email with my feedback and they were always kind enough to compensate me, but it's so disappointing to realize that they're not going to do anything better or make changes.
I recently went in to try the strawberry kiwi and yuzu peach refreshers and both drinks tasted like water with a hint of fruity sugar... Same experience occured with the BT21 kosmo drink. The regular menu drink items aren't the worse, however, sometimes it really feels like they're ripping you off with the amount of toppings given, half the cup being filled with ice, or leaving out an important ingredient. At this point there is no way I am visiting from now on.
I've been loving Chatime for years now. Before there was a Brampton location I always have to bus to Mississauga. The Brampton location is also a 8 mins walking distance from me which I'm really happy about!
When I first went during grand opening days, it was kind of messy. I won't state any examples cuz its quite a list. Months pass by and sometimes the order takes too long. But lately it has been getting better so I'm pretty impress. Went from 30mins of waiting to around 5-10mins. I come here every weekend and the coordination of staff is improving. Quality of drinks are definitely getting better as well.

Read moreAbsolutely the worst chatime ever! Disclaimer I am not heated I waited 24 hrs to decide whether or not I should right this review. There's always a long line at chatime not a problem, its a busy establishment you know that prior to entering. However at this chatime I have no idea what they are doing. They tell you after you place the order its a 20 minute wait( again it is what it is you have the right to say no) the problem is regardless of how many orders they have the wait time will always be 20 minutes. They don't update it to tell you it may be 30 or 40 etc. We waited 56 minutes for our drinks after we were told 20 minutes. My friends and I ordered separately and one drink was made well in advance to the rest ( keep in mind this was the last order placed). They don't seem to be going in any sequence. One minute the barista was calling out order 1152 and the next order was 1167. What happened to all the drinks in between? Eventually I gave up because our last drink was called but our first was no where to be found, so i requested a refund and then the barista magically found the drink saying it was ready. As if I wasn't standing directly in front of her when she asked me what my order was and said it wasn't ready yet. I left people who ordered before me still waiting on their drinks. One guy ordered a drink and after waiting 30+ minutes was told it was a limited drink and they don't have it right now!!!
Simple customer service standards would go a long way at this location. Letting guest know the wait time when they walk in, rather than after they stood in a long line and told you what they want. Sequencing the drinks properly so orders come out as they were order and for the love of God, GET OFF YOUR PHONES. Even if you're speaking with a manger take it to the back so we don't see. Social Distancing is an even bigger problem at this location as no one is watching the doors. Once in a while the barista handing out drinks will say please wait outside but thats well after the place is backed and your squeezing in a corner to give yourself a little distance between you and the next guest. Don't waste your time at this location your better off driving to Vaughan or Square One and getting your drink there. Way better customer service, drink quality and wait times.
