I recently visited the Oceans Fresh Food Market in Brampton and was pleasantly surprised by the changes. It seems like management has either changed or made a strong effort to revamp the store. Walking in, I could immediately tell the place had undergone a significant makeover. It’s much cleaner and feels like a completely different store now.

The meat shop and bakery sections stand out they look fresh, well-organized, and inviting. It’s clear a lot of care has gone into making these areas appealing.

One of the biggest surprises was the addition of a play place, which is a nice touch for families shopping with kids. It’s great to see that the store is making efforts to cater to all its customers.

If you’re in the area, I’d definitely recommend stopping by to check out the improvements! It’s worth a visit.

It seems like this location may be under new management, and there are definitely some noticeable improvements. The renovation of the hot food and customer service areas has made a big difference the space looks cleaner and has a more inviting atmosphere. It’s clear they put effort into making the store feel fresher and more organized.

One of the highlights here is the selection of fresh produce. I’ve consistently found a good variety of fruits and vegetables that are both fresh and well-stocked, which is a big plus.

However, there are still some areas that need attention. Parking is often a hassle, and finding a shopping cart can be difficult. The store really needs to replace some of the older, worn-out carts and ensure they have enough on hand. Also, I’ve occasionally noticed skids of dairy products left out on the floor. It’s unclear why, but it does raise some questions about storage practices.

On a positive note, the hot food section offers a good selection of cooked meals, which is convenient for anyone looking for a quick and tasty option. Overall, there have been great improvements, but a few more tweaks could make this location even better.

Looks like maybe this location is under new management. They have renovated hot food area and customer service area. Looks more clean and nicer.

This location has good selection of fresh produce.

Parking is always a mess. Very low on shopping carts. Definitely shopping carts need to be replaced.

Few times I have seen dairy products left out on the floor on skids not sure why they do that.

Good selection of hot cooked meals.

Very busy store, good selections of sea food items and fruits. Store could be kept bit more cleaner. It’s either cash or Debit only. NO CREDIT card.

I usually don’t by my dairy at Ocean, today hubby picked up Natrel Fine Filtered Homogenized Milk 3% expire date May 28 was spoiled, many times I have seen skids of dairy item left out on the floor. Horrible experience. Was told that my support dog was not welcome and that given that he is being carried in a satchel he offers no support. Provided them with my Dr letters from the Hamilton cancer Center and nobody could be bothered to even look. They continued their none sense and went out of their way to make me feel uncomfortable. The security guard stood behind the manager randomly adding irrelevant facts that clearly he knows nothing about. I have include a picture so you can see what a nuisance me and my dog are. I should have also mentioned that on my way out I was stop my 3 different cahiers who commented on how cute and well behaved he was. I bring him to my hospital visits and I have never had an issues. Thor is a good boy and stays calm for hours at a time. He’s the perfect support dog and allows me a lot of freedoms because of his emotional support. Ontario Human Rights Code The definition of “disability” under the Ontario Human Rights Code includes any person with a physical reliance on a guide dog or other animal. The Code recognizes all types of dogs, as well as other animals serving as service animals which includes emotional support animals. Do NOT go to this store. I’ve been here countless times over the past few years for EMERGENCY purchases. First of all, it is not sanitary at all. It is filthy, and disgusting. The service is terrible. Sometimes, rude employees, other times the employees don’t speak ENGLISH. We asked for a certain product we noticed in the flyer, and this employee just walked away, because he didn’t understand. He did not refer us to customer service, he just walked away and left our problem to ourselves. Not only that, but one employee I saw would not help me, even if she spoke English. She refused to help at all. The most concerning thing about this place is that some of the expiration dates lie. They are NOT truthful. I purchased a pack of flatbread, and the expiration date said “July 19, 2018” it’s currently July 10, 2018, so I thought it would be fine. When I opened the package, there was a really bad smell. I looked inside, and there was mould all over 4 pieces of the bread. The packaging was clear, but the sticker in the front of it was what was covering the mould on it. I immediately threw this away. The prices in this place are also outrageously expensive. I would say the only good thing about this place is the hot food counter. I would not recommend you shop at oceans food mart (At least not this location) and would instead refer you to find a much more sanitary, and clean...
