Poor management, untrained staff, understaffed, resulting in poor service.

Tried to order to-go tonight. Not sure if staff did not know how to refill the paper in the ticket machine, but we paid by credit card and the staff member assured us we would be fine without the paper receipt and asked us to wait 10 minutes for our order. We returned in 10-15 minutes and she said she "lost our order," and didn't make our crepe yet as she forgot the details and didn't record it. We clarified our crepe order and had to wait another 10mins for the rest of our order.

Note: She did not wash her hands or sanitize in between using the register and making our crepe.

Cue to a 15 minutes drive later when we returned home to discover she got the other item in our order wrong. We went back and asked for a refund. She refunded us (just for the one item she made incorrectly) by cash and didn't include the HST in the refund initially until we asked for if.

By the way, they only had 2 staff and the other man didn't even seem to try to help her when she was struggling. They also seemed to be juggling Uber Eats orders simultaneously.

Visit if you want to waste your time and money.

P.S. Turns out we weren't the only ones having a poor experience tonight as the other customers in the restaurant were also less than impressed waiting a lengthy amount of time for their orders. One client said she "waited an hour for their order," and I remember she was here simultaneously when we placed our order 40...

I have the worst experience at any ice cream porlour... I ordered 2 custom waffles with toppings, and I have to order ice cream separately (vanilla)... as waffles only have nutella as syrup, bounty, banana, and turtles, second waffle also with some other combination of chocolates... and a mango smoothie... issues: You have to buy ice cream separately You will get a kiddie scoop in $7 Ice cream contains icicles in it Vanilla ice cream tastes like garbage (when my 6 year old who loves all icream, says don't give me ice cream, just the waffle and chocolate, then you can understand how bad it was) Too expensive (2 waffles with topping and 1 shake cost me around $65)

I would say the shake and waffle were good but not for this price...

I can buy my box of good ice cream, bounty, turtles, and nutella in half of the price and make 10s of them, and that is exactly what I will do next time... I'm not wasting my money for this garbage... I highly recommend Demetres or Fire Spot. They know how to make desserts...

There are no double doors, so be ready for the continuous cold breeze when people are coming in and going out of the shop...

had an unpleasant visit on first visit on Sunday, a guy who went by Victor was the one who took our orders. we stood in line for 5 minutes while he spoke with another customer casually and didn't acknowledge our small group. when my wife went forward to order he said "have you made up your mind?" this took us back. what kind of customer service training do you have? it was obvious he didn't want to serve us. we waited 15 minutes for our waffle and ice cream scoop order but my wife did not get her order until 30 minutes later. although we did not like their service we showed no attitude or dislike, we were at least courteous. he was not because when he handed my her food after everyone else was done eating he asked for a 5 star review he said "sorry, please leave us a 5 star review." obviously he knows he had done something wrong and remembered that people can complain through a review. terrible service makes all the difference when you have over...
