Desi Tandoor — Restaurant in Brampton

These guys seem to be overrated, or maybe now over crowded and not as good as they were in past. Some things are ok, tandoori roti are good, most things just average, the gravy are not properly cooked, the quantity is just fine. All gravys taste almost the same those who really know Indian food will have different experience, than those who don't. New to Indian food might find it good. They have really very bad customer service, kind of customers that come there are of not very good either. Lack of people and crowd management causes people/customers to fight there. Cops might be required to be called as management there is weak in case there is a violent argument. There are no hand sanitizers. People can walk in without the masks and they won't object. Their order sequencing has way too many overlaps, so the orders get over delayed and cold. I there are too many orders they go inside the kitchen and leave the counter and restaurant unmanned to avoid taking orders. The Lady on order taking desk also works in kitchen parallelly, so often the place is unmanned, because of which people get frustrated. Best is to place an order on call and just go and pick. Best food in a GTA, if u want to try best butter chicken and lamb briyani must visit this place ,more over for the veggies they have lot of option ,,i work as a chef so sometimes i also confused what to order ,so mr justin and simar ghotra i want to tell u the base marinations all are same , .. if u order fish tikka and tandoori chicken from any resturant of Asian all marination is same just the flavour comes of the dish is depend what the dish is ...... i love the Desi tandoor team how they work ,how they talk even on there busy time ...Here people dont have courage to talk face to face just what they do just put only review ,,if u really have any problem just cal them and tell them ,if they not listen u than only put review like that ...i m not talking in there favour ,,,i just want if people really have problem to any resturant just cal them tell there issue than only post the review other wise this thing is only show uneducation because why they do know the food and they think may be resturant satisfy them on ph ,so these type of scare people put bad review .... i write these all things just tell all people please first call the resturant talk with them than only put bad review ,,All people work hard...

WORST thaali we had in last 10 years in GTA !! Not sure where all these 5 Stars and positive reviews are coming from but am 1000 % sure am never going back to this place even for free food ! Wasted my time and MONEY last night , even my 18 months old didn’t eat the food . How come the person taking orders didn’t know what’s in the kitchen today ??? Naans were burned and so hard !! No choice of veggies and curry like other restaurants serving thaali just take away whatever they have and worst was yet to come home - paneer , Rajma and Daal ( no dry veggies as promised while ordering ) , plain dahi ( sour) and plain rice - I wish one item was authentic!! Who on earth serves 3 curries in thali ????? So my honest ADVICE to the owner - either upgrade your food quality or please STOP charging the same price as places serving great food with great selections ! still thankful that I decided not ordering a chicken item for my kid or he would stop eating chicken - this was my 2nd and last time ( 1st time about 6-7 months ago the food...
