During my visit on September 17 I was eager to enjoy a pint and some fish and chips, and I specifically asked whether the fish was dipped in batter, given that it was my first time at your establishment. Unfortunately, I did not receive a response to my inquiry. Instead, I was presented with the debit terminal and informed that it is your policy for patrons to pay before receiving their food. This approach caught me off guard and left me feeling as though I was being treated with suspicion, as if there were an implication that I might dine and dash.

I asked about any signage regarding this policy but received no clear answer, merely a reiteration of the policy itself. I offered to pay for the pint that had already been served but decided against the fish and chips, as I was uncomfortable with the manner in which the situation was handled. I was informed that the meal had already started being prepared; however, to avoid any further complications, I paid the full bill and chose not to keep the fish and chips.

I want to express that this experience was deeply disappointing. I believe that customer service is an essential aspect of any dining experience, and I felt that the situation could have been handled with more understanding and courtesy. Given this experience, I will not consider spending my money at your establishment in the future, and I feel compelled to share my experience...

Cool dive bar close to home if you want to watch the game and meet some locals. Dive atmosphere but jack Astor's prices. Honest review. Barely any specials and beers are a whopping 7.50 for a draft of Canadian, 8.50-10.00 for other beers on tap.

A bit steep for a dive bar. Never tried the food so I can't comment on it... However it was 18 for a poutine. Very steep. 18 for wings plus tax.

Way too expensive once you add tax and tip which would be an extra 45 percent. The prices just didn't match the bar. Disappointed about that. Won't be going back.

Went two seperate nights. The entertainment was swell and the bartenders were cool beans. Thanks bartender Damian for the hospitality. The KTV dj was epic. Great job. Staff is extremely nice and accommodating. Cool vibes. Cool crowd.

It also doesn't help when your website for the establishment deletes all menus and it has no specials. I searched it before I came and it was all deleted. Possibly they boosted the prices for the bar and took down the old prices.

Another thing to add is they didnt have burgers because the chef doesn't cook them. Lol. That sounds like a kitchen nightmare episode where Gordon Ramsay shows up.

Some friends and I went here after dinner on September 5th for drinks. We stayed for one drink because the place was disgustingly dirty. We sat at a bench booth table and along the sides of the booth was dust that you could see from sitting across the table. The service was not the greatest either we tried for about 10 minutes to try and get our servers attention got to the point where I actually had to put my mask on to go over to the guy serving us to ask for the bill. The wait staff wasn't wearing his mask properly he kept pulling it up and down in his face. At one point I looked over and while he was at the computer register he was wiping his nose on the back of his hand and didn't wash it afterwards I was appalled. There was no real social distancing and people were walking around without their masks on when not at their tables. The owner didn't do or say anything to the wait staff or the patrons he just sat at a bar stool drinking. As far as I'm concerned they should not be allowed to be open and in operation since they are obviously not following covid-19 guidelines...
