Read moreHeart lake... more like BROKEN HEART LAKE!! 💔 I've been coming here to enjoy the lake with my kids for the past 4 years now. Have two small children that really enjoy fishing, we have a kayak that we all enjoy spending some quality time on together catching crappie and sunfish. They use to charge $7 per adult and less then $5 for a child. This morning I drove to Broken Heart Lake with one of my kids to enjoy a couple hours on the water, when arriving at the gate they told me it was $27 for the car didn't matter if we were 2 in it or 4 or by myself.. price is still $27... I was planning on coming back tomorrow for a couple hours with my other child but its going to cost us another $27.. A total of $54 to come a couple hours a day with my family trying to enjoy the outdoors 🤔 THANKS TRCA for RUINING this beautiful gem of a conservation area for all locals that used to enjoy coming here.. I understand paying a fee but $27 is completely ridiculous.. it's not like if the park gives you any services.. I go to the movie theater I can understand paying for a air-conditioned room with massive screen to look at.. All I'm doing is driving in the park to unload my kayak and park it... at least give me valey parking, something for my money.. Now I need to rethink my hole finances to enjoy a few days in a conservation park.. Good job TRCA "NOT" whoever is in charge of this operation needs to be fired asap.. bring back the park and prices so everyone can enjoy themselves without remorgaging there house. Heart lake... is now broken 💔 Big L on this...

Boathouse fishing and tackle, no license required. Learn to Fish program for beginners, pool and splash pad, picnic areas with benches, fitness trail, Tree Top Trecking/ Zip Line, canoeing and kayaking, cycling and hiking, dog walking, or just a nature walk is fine.
If you are looking for an adventure for kids of all ages, get outdoors and choose your adventure, this is the place. However, you have to pay extra if you want to play those activities. I don't think they will allow for overnight camping over there.
There is a bathroom/change room located near the pool and splash pad. There are stairs to walk down to the Heart Lake where you can find another washroom facility. However, there are porta-potties only in the picnic areas or along the trails.
Several huge parking lots in different areas are available, but you have to pay for general admission. Passenger vehicle: $24.00 Large van: $42.00 Bus: $300.00.
The Medicine Wheel Garden is organized by the Aboriginal Network, TRCA, City of Brampton, and community groups, a place for healing, celebration, and peace, which is fantastic to drop by.
