I came here with two of my family members to try out another Filipino restaurant so we can try different variations of Filipino cuisine and also to support Filipino businesses in the city I live in. I went to the website and was amazed on the selections and the food in the pictures looked appetizing. What I can say is that the food (at least the food that we tried) is not as good I expected it to be. I would rate the food as follows: Pork Sisig -it was dry and was not easy to chew. The taste was okay. However, it was not the typical pork sisig I am used to. The quantity does not justify the price as well. I would rate it 2/5 Garlic Rice -I have tried garlic rice from other Filipino restaurants before I’ve tried this so I know what to expect in terms of the texture and taste of this type of fried rice. The fried rice had only a little bit of hint of garlic in it and the texture of the rice was a bit on the sticky side. I expected more from it to be honest. Not appetizing to me to be honest. I would rate it 1/5. La Paz Batchoy -this noodle soup is very popular back home. I love having it as a kid. To be honest, I didn’t like it either. The seasoning and soup were good but the noodles were blah. I would rate it 3/5. Halo-halo -this is the only saving grace from what we have ordered so far. It tasted good but the price is up there. I would rate it 4/5. Grilled Pork Belly -this was good. We ordered this for take out for family. I wished we ordered this instead. It is a typical pork belly and I like it. The best part about this is it had saucesand mango salad. The mango salad was the best part of it. I would rate it 5/5. Fresh Lumpia/Lumpiang Sariwa -I bought this for my dad and he really loved it. It was fresh and it came with the sauce. I would rate it 5/5.
I would come back just for the Fresh Lumpia...
Read moreI had my birthday party last April 2. 2023 at Fan”D” Flame Restaurant. I had 48 guests who expressed their satisfaction with regards to the food (delicious) and the venue (large and comfortable enough for my guests). In the three hours that we stayed at the restaurant, we had a buffet styled dinner and time for Karaoke singing and dancing.
It was my son who provided us with the music. It was facilitated by the fact that the restaurant had a small stage and a large TV at one side of the restaurant.
The owner, Vicky, helped me with the choice of food trays and the amount to order. I was relieved and happy that we had enough food for everyone and in fact even had extra food given to guests on their way out.
The servers at the restaurant were very professional, accommodating and made sure all the guests were attended to at all times.
The April 2nd event was my third time to host a dinner event in this place, but it’s only in this event that I hosted my own birthday party and had Karaoke singing and dancing, which my guests and I really enjoyed.
Thank you very much, Fan “D” Flame and my guests for a memorable and enjoyable...

I enjoyed the grilled veggie platter (red pepper, zucchini, eggplant) but it was missing the okra and mango salad listed on the menu. Just the right amount of char.
Halo halo. Hello?! Where have you been all my life? My first try of this dessert. Definitely won't be my last. Big enough to be shared...IF you want to share that is. ;)
The pancit canton (aka Cantonese noodles) was a family sized portion. Oily and salty as one might expect. I think the carrots could have been cooked more and it probably could have passed as vegetarian because I saw very little of anything resembling meat protein. But overall, good.
The grilled milk fish and the pork chops were also good but underwhelming compared to the rest of the meal.
Decor is nice. Very clean. Staff are friendly and service was ok. It was a Friday night...
