Kibo Sushi House - Brampton — Restaurant in Brampton

BEWARE of this location. We placed an order for the Love boat for 3 on Father’s Day it was great!

We placed the exact same order today for pickup. Shortly after we were called and informed that the Love boat for 3 does not include a 10 piece kamakazi roll , it only comes with a red dragon, California roll, spicy salmon roll. . I told her last time we ordered kamakazi & red dragon is what it came with (she was the same person I ordered with previously). additionally this is what is stated on the online menu for the BRAMPTON location word for word. She responded with each branch has its own menu for which I informed her that the menu I was referring to was the Brampton location (picture of the menu posted below). I kindly told her that as a business you should change your menu to reflect what you’re actually preparing for your customers, if not don’t be surprised if customers are asking you to honour what is advertised on your menu. The food itself, was a complete 360 from when we first ordered here a month ago, sushi had a odd taste and smell definitely not fresh, portions were small, and rice was stale. We’ve eaten at the downtown Toronto kibo sushi locations multiple times— which is amazing, however this is the last time we will be giving our business to this location. Save your money, go to Toshi Sushi or Sushi House Brampton it’s a lot better in regards to freshness, taste, portions and customer service. So disappointing, this location really brings down the “Kibo Sushi House” reputation

Excellent Food and Service at Kibo Sushi - 490 Chrysler Dr #47, Brampton, ON L6S 0C1

We had a wonderful FriDate at Kibo Sushi on Chrysler Drive after picking up our daughter from Pearson International Airport , Craving for Japanese or Korean food, we decided to visit Kibo Sushi House , and we couldn’t be happier with our choice. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by our server, Anmol, who promptly took our order with a friendly and professional demeanor.

I choose the Chicken Teriyaki and Shrimp Tempura Bento Box, which came with a variety of delicious sides like croquette (mashed potato tempura), glass noodles, a fresh green salad, and a comforting bowl of Miso soup. The tempura was perfectly fried to a golden yellow, crispy on the outside, and light on the inside. The Miso soup had a rich, savory taste, and the salad was delightfully fresh with a dressing you could tell was homemade. The service at this location is always top-notch. Anmol was attentive, knowledgeable about the menu. We leave feeling completely satisfied with both the food and the exceptional service. I used to order from this restaurant 2-3 times a week for years. They have 'changed their supplier' for their beef and now serve beef pieces the equivalent of ground beef. It's as if the beef pieces were end pieces you throw away after trimming a whole striploin. It has a horrible gritty texture. Why would I pay $21 for a bento of such poor quality? I basically paid $21 for seasoned cabbage. I had stopped ordering from the Humber location because the bulgogi had huge chunks of bone (this occurred a few weeks ago). Now, this location is a no-go as well. At this point, I am better of buying the pre seasoned bulgogi from Costco. Spoke with the store, and they did not care, as per the owner, "they have changed suppliers and are making the food the same way. "...basically too bad. It no longer even tastes the same. I was also sent salmon ($), instead of the maguro ($$) I ordered. Which is insane to even try doing. This was, unfortunately, my last order. Food was inedible due to the horrible gritty texture. You do not deserve my business to serve me such poor quality and send items I never ordered. Absolutely unacceptable quality of food and customer service.
