Best Buy has put me through the ringer ... we ordered a fridge, paid for the delivery & recycle of the old fridge ($33.90)
They took the old fridge, and left it (doors ON) facing out in our parking lot. I called for pick up and it took an entire week, escalated to yelling and swearing and crying before they came to pick it up. They attempted pick up, said they wouldn't pick up because nobody was there to sign. NOBODY TOLD US WE NEEDED TO BE THERE. THE FRIDGE IS OUTSIDE!!!! It escalated to even more yelling and they FINALLY came to pick it up.
Best Buy promised me the refund the $33.90 for all the trouble and added it to my case number. Haven't got the money back and it's been 3 months. I've called weekly and now theyve 'LOST' the case number where they promised me a refund... now won't offer the refund, yet offered 10% off up to $100 of another online purchase.
NOT HAPPENING!!!! I WILL NEVER EVER SHOP BEST BUY AGAIN - EVER. I WILL ALWAYS SHOP LOCAL NOW AND PAY THE EXTRA $50 FOR THE LOCAL GUY AND HAVE NO TROUBLE.
FYI people - if you used a credit card to pay, you can dispute it and the credit card company will go after...
Read moreWent to the Best Buy Clearance Centre on Saturday (3rd of October) looking for a fridge. Please be aware of any holes, dents, scratches, etc on any of the appliances. Delivery is $79.99 and if you would like to pick up, it is on the same day of purchase. Always ask for a better price on the sale item, for they can honour it because you are more than likely to see a blemish on the appliance. I got a Samsung French door fridge that retails now in major appliance stores for $1399.99 and due to a dent on the side of the fridge, I got it for $899.99.
Due to COVID, they limit 6 people at a time in the store. They are closed Mondays and Tuesdays. Please check website for store hrs. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Mat, helped me a great deal and gave me an amazing price on the fridge.
