Lazeez Shawarma — Restaurant in Brampton

The service at the 200 County court location has been slowly going down over the past few years. I remember the days of when I used to order my food and I would get fresh meat cut off from the spit and heated up on the grill. The fries would be cooked to order and I’d walk away happily. I’d rant and rave to countless people about how delicious your food was.

The past few times that I’ve gone to said location I was unable to get hot meat. I would ask if it was possible to get fresh meat off the spit and cooked to order and was told that that was no longer done and that the meat in the table warmer was”fresh”. At the time I felt like it was a small sacrifice to make at my favourite takeout place. However today was really the last straw. Not only was I okay with receiving the cold meat but when asked for well done fries I was told that the fries in the metal bowl was “fresh”, the gentleman passed me a fry and asked me to taste it and to see if it was “good enough for me” I said no. I still want well done fries. He then proceeded to explain to me that if he made fresh well done fries then he would just be putting it in the same bowel with the cold fries so it doesn’t really make a difference. I had already paid and was starving at this point so I said sure… whatever. I am never planning on coming back here again anyways so what difference does it make to me?

I guess the gentleman who cashed me out could see the dismay in my face so he told the other gentleman in their shared language and he proceeded to make two separate ordered with he old fries (I’m assuming for the skip the dishes pick up) and dropped in fresh fries for me.

This experience with this location is exhausting. I’m tired of being treated like a subpar customer by staff who are too lazy to make fresh...

I used to really enjoy this location. The food was good and the workers were polite. I had not visited in about a year and within the last week had 2 bad experiences. The first time, it was a simple mix up of ingredients which I let go because I placed the order on the phone and I figured the person may have misheard. The second time, I went yesterday afternoon and had an unpleasant experience with the person taking an order. I am not sure why he was so rude and arrogant. I was placing an order for Falafel, and he asked which toppings I want. I was going down the list (I got 2 falafels) and I told him, no olives, no cucumber, no turnip. He very rudely said, why don't you just say you want all the toppings. Why are you listing them all? When I told him I'm not listing all of them he became defensive started arguing. I said okay let's try this again. Despite me saying my order slowly, they still MESSED IT UP!. The person making the sandwiches was nice, so it's not his fault. It was solely the fault of the person taking the order. I noticed he did the same thing with the next 2-3 customers as well. Hopefully the management can look into this attitude and...

Absolutely terrible service! The guy at the cash didn't even greet me or ask me what I needed, he just half-assedly looked at me and had a disgusting attitude. Then, he didn't even bother to give me my receipt which you are supposed to do RIGHT AFTER a customer has paid for their food. I had to grab it myself and then he had the audacity to tell me I grabbed the wrong receipt. Ultimately, it doesn't matter who gets which copy of the receipt as long as both people have one. Furthermore, the two idiots started speaking and laughing in punjabi, thinking I wouldn't understand them but I did because these uneducated pigs barely bothered to look at me when I was giving them my order and if they had actually looked at me they would have noticed that I'm brown too, hence I understand punjabi. My point is, someone needs to train these sexist and rude employees on how to PROPERLY serve and greet customers or they just need to be simply fired. (I went on April 9th at around 6 pm).
