Standard Sweets & Restaurant — Restaurant in Brampton

First off it started with a call to order a chicken biryani. I am told 10 minutes. I ask are you sure only 10 minutes or will it be longer. I am told no 10 mins ready. I get there and ask for order. Girl goes in back starts saying aunti can you make chicken biryani. I said I was told ready in 10 minutes. Girl laughs walks to back. The other girl says they just started cooking, few minutes. I watch the girl use her bare hands and start touching all the pre cooked food. I look in kitchen and see people touching food, floor and cleaning and not washing hands. One cook comes out dirty as ever with hands unwashed and gets them to serve him food. LOL! Finally I get the biryani and drive home. I open it up its a soaked rice with 1 chicken bone at the bottom maybe the equivalent of a chicken nugget worth of meat. I called store, returned food for money back and even then they gave me 10 cents less. OMG never again would I go there and I suggest the health inspector pays them a visit. To boot they have two parking spots at side of store for customers and the owner takes one for himself....

Hopefully you see this review before the food poisoning and not after like me

Got a quick takeout from here to try out and like others who have posted here, was charged about $5 more than the menu listed price. No word or mention of total just handed a machine and demanded payment

Food was horrible taste wise and covered up with a fresh sprinkle of uncooked spice to mask the staleness I’m sure.

When you get into the restaurant there is uncovered food left out everywhere. If you are getting any takeout snacks and desserts from here just know that they didn’t change their gloves even once for the 20 mins I was there and were touching everything! Saw the wait staff put down a tray of food then open the washroom door handle same glove!

PLEASE AVOID THIS PLACE if you value your stomach and throat. Go to the fine dining place in the same plaza…I’m sure they...

If there is an option for 0 starts I would have definitely give it. The first thing I saw when I entered to the restaurant is a hair on dessert when I pointed this out to the owner he said will replace that plate, they just took the hair out and served the same dessert. I ordered a plate of pakoda. The moment my friend took a bite she puked the food. The food was stinking and the veg stuffed in pakora was rotten again we informed this to the owner and he said it is freshly made such an ignorant attitude and we were offered for new plate of food, we denied taking it and ordered dhokla and tea.
