I almost don’t know what to write because I’m at a loss for words. This tiramisu was just that good.
You’ve seen it all over insta and trust me the hype is reeeeal!
I’ve had a lot of tiramisu in my life and have tried them in Italy. Nonna Lia is on par with Italy and truly some of the best I’ve ever had!
THIS is what you expect when you’re looking for a tiramisu. The mascarpone was velvety and sweetened just right. The espresso came through but wasn’t too strong. And there were no chocolate shavings in sight hahaha. I’m a believer in no chocolate in classic tiramisu!!
The strawberry tiramisu was out of this woooorld. Think strawberry shortcake but with the same mascarpone cream in the OG tiramisu. I kept staring at each bite, like how did they make this? How can I recreate this?? Lol. It was just so good.
I was literally saying “omg” after each bite. I was blown away.
I received the tiramisu pop for free, as I was one of the first to visit their new location in Brampton. It tasted exactly like the OG tiramisu but just in a popsicle form! I know I said no chocolate, but this actually worked well and was a very clever and unique idea.
Anyways, I’ll be trying all the flavours and they can take all my money :p. I’m so happy there’s a...

I’ve always been a fan of traditional tiramisu, but the addition of hazelnut brought a new dimension to the dessert that I didn’t expect. The nutty flavor was beautifully woven into the creamy mascarpone layers, and it paired perfectly with the rich coffee-soaked ladyfingers. The dessert was not overly sweet, which I appreciated, allowing the flavors to really shine through. The cocoa dusting on top added just the right touch of bitterness to balance everything out.
What stood out to me was the texture – it was incredibly light and airy, making each bite feel luxurious without being too heavy. I found myself savoring each spoonful, enjoying the harmonious blend of flavors. Nonna Lia Hazelnut Tiramisu quickly became one of my favorite desserts, and it's something I would definitely recommend to fellow...
Read moreIf you're a Tiramisu lover looking for something beyond the classic, Nonna Lia is an absolute must-visit. They serve what I can confidently call the best Tiramisu in the region, with a range of unique and indulgent flavours. I recently tried their Mango and Pistachio Tiramisus, and both were nothing short of delightful. The mango flavour, in particular, stood out with its smooth, creamy texture and perfectly balanced tropical sweetness — it was refreshingly different and absolutely delicious.
While the portion sizes may seem a bit small for the price, the quality and taste certainly justify the cost. Each bite reflects the care and premium ingredients that go into their desserts. If you're someone who enjoys trying bold, creative spins on classic desserts, Nonna Lia offers an experience worth savouring. Definitely worth a try if you're after something unique...
