Pür & Simple — Restaurant in Brampton

My wife and I have been sourcing out Breakfast / Brunch Spot since Golden Griddle at Rutherford & Queen Closed “If you know you know”😊 Yesterday we went to Pur & Simple and Enjoyed the Best Brunch. We were seated within minutes on arrival, Our server *Zyanna was welcoming introduced herself, answered our questions regarding the meals & bit of history on the Restaurant. I started with a great cup of Cappuccino Followed by:

Meal: Skillett RAY’S EXTRAVAGANZA:
The egg was “Over Easy” as ordered. The potatoes perfectly seasoned & Cooked. The Skillet meal was filling & I ended with A Mango tango.

my wife started with Coffee adding cream & Brown Sugar. She is extremely particularly about her Coffee & states it was a great aroma, well-balanced, great aftertaste and the perfect “Hot”Temperature. Coffee was refilled without promoting the server.

Meal: AVOCADO LOX My wife states the Eggs were Poached as ordered. Likewise, the potatoes perfectly seasoned & Cooked. Harjinder (The Owner) very pleasant person, stopped by our table to ensure everything was going great, and it was. Our meals were brought within reasonable time and having the right temperature & Great Flavour. Both meals were Fully enjoyed.

COOKIE BUTTER WAFFLE: Later at home, we enjoyed what is by far the best Sweet & Savoury meal we have had in a verrry long time. Note: It is Limited Time Offered Edition. Overall, We will definitely be returning to Pur & Simple with our Children & Grandchildren to enjoy other meals & Definitely for the Cookie Butter Waffle.

So I’m not sure what happened. I came in and I got seated within two minutes. But I had to wait for my waitress for around 15 minutes I would say. When she finally came, she didn’t say hi or anything. I just said what I wanted to order. There was a couple that came in 10 minutes after me and they sat on the table next to me and the same waitress. I had served them right away, so I don’t understand why I had to wait so much longer while the people who came after me got served right away. I understand maybe she was busy but the thing is she said hi to those two and asked them basic customer service questions, asked if this is your first time here, asked how they’re doing she did none of that to me, just came up to me. I’m not sure if it was because I was alone, but I felt very disrespected and uncomfortable at that point the food was okay. The avocado toast is very salty and there’s a very strong smoky flavour so I was not the biggest fan and couldn’t eat it also because I didn’t want to stay. The smoothie and french toast however were not bad. I feel very uncomfortable and I feel like I could not go to this restaurant alone again the service was very bad poorly. My waitress was a Caucasian woman with a tattoo on her neck, long lashes and she had long nails. If you’re the manager reading this retrain her, I would honestly want a refund. Love that brampton has a nice, upscale breakfast place like this. This is my 3rd time visiting and each time i was served by Ernelo. Service by Ernelo easy 5/5 stars, shes highly knowledgeable about the menu, she listened to what I like and made some incredible recommendations. She recommened ham and swiss eggs benedict, the fruit bowl, and espresso chocolate pancakes. I could not finish all that food but it was really good. I did not need to call her over once, shes extremely attentative and always making rounds to make sure all tables are good not just the ones shes serving. Appreciate the patience from her while she took time to explain the menu to me. I met the manager Paloma for the first time today and she is going around making sure everyone has everything, asking if they would like anything else along with trying to put a smile on everyones face. What really impressed me about the manager was she was on the floor working along with managing the staff with the more important tasks to do at hand first. I will most certainly be back just for Ernelo's service. The decor is really nice, makes you feel like you are sitting in an upscale downtown spot, and the menu has something for everyone. See...
