Sunset Grill — Restaurant in Brampton

My 7 year old and I ate brunch today and I was shocked by the bill. I was charged $5.50 for a lemonade for my son and was not expecting this at all. It was not fresh juice. I just checked and your menu says that lemonade of this price is for fresh juice, when in season, so why was I charged this amount. The waitress even told me that it is from the bottle and a name brand juice. This is outrageous. When I ordered juice for my son, I was going to get the bottled juice and the waitress said you also had lemonade. Not fresh squeezed and hence I ordered it as lemonade is a fav of my son. In what world do you charge the fresh squeezed price for regular juice?? It bothered me and I even commented my surprise at the time and looked up the menu just now as it came to mind again. Also, I paid almost $19 for a Greek salad with chicken. The chicken was so tough that I could barely chew it and the salad was sub standard and packed onto a too small plate so it was almost impossible to eat without it falling off the plate and done to make it appear large when it was not. I paid $6.99 for the added chicken and it was so bad and almost impossible to chew. With the 18% tip, I paid over $57 for 2 people. The only saving grace was the nice waitress. An egg breakfast and my salad should not cost this much for 2 people. I will never visit here again. You owe me my money back for the lemonade. Sunset Grill Review

I recently visited the Sunset Grill location on Hurontario and Bovaird with high expectations, given my husband and I's regular breakfast visits to this spot. Unfortunately, my experience with their Greek salad was a letdown. Ordered on Thursday, September 18th, 2025, the salad lacked essential ingredients, including cucumbers, and featured only one slice of tomato cut into four sections no red onions what so ever. The portion of olives was also meager, and the salad came undressed with hardley any sign of feta cheese. At $15, the price didn't match the quality or quantity of the ingredients.

The salad's preparation was surprising, especially considering the generally excellent breakfast dishes I've had at Sunset Grill in the past. Given our weekly breakfast tradition at this location, it's disheartening to see inconsistency in their offerings.

Recommendation: If you're a fan of their breakfast items, you might still enjoy visiting Sunset Grill. However, if you're looking for a satisfying salad, you might want to explore other options or check if they've updated their menu and preparation procedures.

I really really really didn’t want to write this review at all. I’ve frequent this restaurant on UberEats the past couple of weeks. However the last time I ordered the Protein Breakfast, the steak I wanted was suppose to be medium rare, but when I received it, it was basically still blue on the inside. I had to pop it into my oven to cook it a little more to my desire. I thought I was ordering COOKED food. Not cook it at home. The Caesar salad that I received had no bacon. How do you miss the bacon on the Caesar salad? All in all, the experience was good up until the last time. This order was in January 16, 2022 @ 7:43am

To top it all off, I’ve tried calling the location in the morning. First 2 calls rang, after that their phone was turned off. I get it, it’s the morning you don’t want to talk to anyone. But if you aren’t going to pick up the phone and satisfy a customers need, don’t bother working in the morning. Find a different job.
