Read moreI ordered 2 pizzas, a London fog, and a chocolate chunk cookie. After ordering, I received a handout the service window indicating that I couldn't move forward. Very unprofessional and unwelcoming! After several minutes, I was waved to proceed, I found out that the machine to make a London fog was broken. I simply ask to cancel. I was told I could wait for 5 minutes more for them to fix it. I declined and said my toddler son in the back is already getting fussy. I was handed the cookie, and I was asked to park the car, and they will deliver my pizza as soon as it was done. So I parked. I waited for over 15 minutes from my order time and finally I got out of the car and knocked on the drive through window, because there were no cars there and hadn't been for quite some time, and asked if my pizzas were ready. To my disappointment, they were sitting on the counter, and no one bothered to bring them out to me. When we started to eat the pizza, about 2 minutes later, they were barely Luke warm! They were probably sitting there for 10 out of the 15 minutes we were waiting. It makes me more upset that I had already explained my son was fussing in the back seat, and I didn't want to even wait 5 minutes for my London fog!
Anyone who has ever taken a toddler out on their own could empathize that waiting in the car for 15 minutes is already difficult but then to have to get out of the car to pick up the food they said they would bring to me is so much more difficult. To top off the already disappointing and frustrating experience, the pizzas were barely luke warm. There wasn't even an acknowledgment or apology for the long wait!
Update to their response. When I went to the link they provided, it automatically connected me to my app, I clicked on the guest service link, and it rerouted me back to my home page. Basically, it will not allow me to connect with them. This continues to be frustrating and a...
Read moreJust when I thought Tim Hortons customer service couldn’t possibly sink lower… this location said, Hold my broom!
I stood at the register like an unpaid extra in a ghost movie. Eight staff buzzing around, yet somehow I was invisible. Not a nod, not eye contact...Nothing. Just pure invisibility mode.
The was one girl, broom in hand, hypnotized by the floor tiles like they held the secrets of the universe. Eventually, she disappeared to stash her broom and came at the register… she only stands there staring at the cashierdisplay as if she was watching a sad movie in there. Was she trained to interact with humans? Hard to say. Maybe she was having a rough day, maybe it was just bad manners, or maybe the dentist wired her teeth so tight she literally couldn’t speak. 🤷🏻♂️
When she finally picked up my pastries, I reminded her she’d just been sweeping. You know, dirt, dust, germs, basic stuff. She insisted she had washed her hands in the back. Oh, sure. The front has a big, shiny handwashing sink on display for customers, but she chose the invisible back sink. Totally believable. And totally not in under 10 seconds.
At that point, I gave up and asked another staff member to handle it, because broom-girl clearly wasn’t cut out for customer service—or food service—or honestly, any service that involves humans.
Bottom line: This location isn’t just lowering the bar, it’s digging a...
