Wimpy's Diner — Restaurant in Brampton

I would give a 0 if I could. Never got to taste the food.

As we were sitting down the sever wiped the table with an old rag. The stale dish water smell bugged us for about 5 minutes before it dissipated. That was only the beginning of the worst restaurant experience I've ever had.

I understand places can be busy but I sat in my seat drinking coffee for an hour before we decided to leave.

I was sitting next to the door so I was able to see all the people standing in line waiting to be seated. Got to know a few faces. So imagine my surprise when a face I recognize from the line waiting to be seated 30 minutes after I got there, is eating while I have no sign of food.

Approximately 50 minutes into my ordeal a table of people the server obviously knows arrived, and almost instantly after being seated their drinks arrived. Almost like she took their order while they were waiting for a seat to open up.

The look on our face must have suggested we were getting frustrated so the server came over and said she doesn't know what's taking so long but it's coming right up. We waited 10 more minutes, I think a reasonable amount of time for "coming right up", and then we decided to leave. I was going to throw a $5 on the table for the drinks and walk out but my wife insisted she let the server know. At least she was understanding enough to comp us the drinks.

Sunset grille is right down the street. I'll be going there for breakfast...

Came to Wimpy's Diner (Hurontario location) Saturday morning with my 2-year old (who was sleeping at the time). Upon my arrival, I was directed to seat myself, which I did. I grabbed a menu, and began looking through the items. I decided to order the Southwest Benedict for myself, and proceeded to look for the kids section in the menu. After waiting about 20 minutes, the server (older Caucasian woman) approached my table and asked what I wanted to order. I asked her if there was a kid's menu. She told me, "Yes, but you can't order from it." She walked away from my table, and then came back with the menu. I asked her, why I wasn't allowed to order something from the kid's menu. She replied that adults are not allowed to order items from the kid's menu. I clarified that I was ordering something separate for myself from the regular menu and needed to get something for my son. I was a bit annoyed that she assumed I was going to try to order my meal from the kid's menu. I ordered a coffee to drink and continued waiting. After waiting an additional 10 minutes without my order being taken or receiving my coffee, I decided that I no longer wanted to eat here, and walked out. The prices, food choices, and reviews of this place were very good, and I was excited to eat here. Unfortunately, the lack of customer service trumped that and I will not be...

When I went into this establishment, I was treated with great disrespect and was sitting at a table after I was told so rudely to seat myself which is their policy but again it was how rudely I was addressed. It was not busy at all as there was only four tables with guest and I was at the fifth table and sat and waited for over 10 minutes for a menu and by that time I realized they were not going to serve us. I could not believe my eyes to see the waitress and another lady standing around munching on food waiting for plates so they could serve others already there. Me and my guest got up and left politely and I had to apologize to my guest because they came to visit from the East Coast for the Holidays and because my experience was so great at the Wimpys diner in Mississauga on Royal Windsor I stopped in at this location what a big difference. I Will NEVER go there again and I strongly recommend not to go to Wimpys at Hurontario and Bovaird I'm enjoying my delicious breakfast up the road at Flips much better service not...
