I ordered $50 worth of food. They jam packed my order in one tiny “thank you” plastic bag. When I opened the bag my LARGE shawarma wraps were falling everywhere and almost broke. They tied the bag so tight that half of the tiny bag capacity was lost. Everything was squished. I also order two chicken shawarma bowls that are pretty large bowls and a side order of falafels. The falafels were so tiny. They charged $5 for 5 falafels and they were the tiniest falafels I’ve ever seen. They were just slightly bigger than the size of $2 coin and they were incredibly hard and dried out. I called the restaurant and spoke to one of the owners. She told me to complain to Uber instead of owning up to their own mistake. If you’re charging top dollar for your food at least have the decency to show some respect to the food you’re sending out. She should’ve used two bags and not just shoved everything in one tiny plastic bag as if you’re sending food for a dog. At the end she didn’t apologize or anything. She just said “next time I’ll use two bags for your order” that even with attitude. I then told her there would not be a next time. Horrible customer service and definitely not worth what you pay. Very disappointed. Save your money and spend it...
Read moreHonestly this place used to be really good, the husband of the woman that works there is nice and had a humble approach, but one time during the pandemic i asked the lady why there wasn’t any complimentary sanitizer at the entrance, she started arguing that i should have my own sanitizer, the thing i cant wrap my head around is people are coming to your restaurant in a pandemic they touch the front door along with your keypad, i never see them Sanitizing the place, and then the cusotmers eat when they leave, wouldn’t it be considerate to have a bottle right in the front, the lady had a lot of attitude and no customer appreciation like her husband has. I chose to ignore the whole sanitizer ordeal, and today was the final straw, i went in and asked for extra chicken, and extra tabouli the lady always acts like its the end of the world when i ask for extra tabouli, but today she was like “its only 29 cents” like in the last 15 years coming to this establishment and recommending it to others i did not know this, i never complained about the price ever and bought orders for 4-5 people at times. I really hate this place now after the last few visits and will never eat here again after today, there are plenty of places to eat...
Read moreI am sad to see all these negative reviews, as this is my local/neighbourhood Pita Land. I have been coming here for a couple of years now and the food is always fantastic and the service is always superb. My last visit was about a month ago, I had finished doing a Skip The Dishes shift as I am a courier and was quite hungry. I ordered a Chicken Souvlaki Plate. While I was waiting, the gentleman working offered me some Lentil soup, on the house. I thought to myself, this is my lucky day, while I wait for my fresh food to be cooked, I get to have some soup (and I am a soup lover, and willing to try anything!). The lady also working with the gentleman asked me, "How was the soup? I made it!" I said it was excellent, and so delicious. I honestly don't know what some people's issue is, but hey, everyone has a right to their own opinion. Personally, I always get a Chicken Souvlaki Plate, a Chicken Shawarma Warp, and once in blue moon a Falafel wrap, and each and every time, it is to die for. So delicious and so flavourful each and every time. The garlic potatoes are my favourite :). I highly recommend this...
