Zaika's Shawarma — Restaurant in Brampton

MUST READ - Ordered 2 of their chicken shawarma and it’s was so bad. Chicken is marinated in desi style, this not a shawarma. This is false advertisement. They put lots of veggies and very little chicken. Sauce is very light and they made one wrap really spicy which is weird. Dear owners, have some shame. How can your call your wrap a shawarma. Would you call chicken curry as a chicken soup? Go to a proper shawarma place and taste their food, I’ll give you $50 to buy that food. I don’t even know how you guys are in business. Maybe their other food is good but this is not it. They did the wrapping of the pita well but it was a bit hard but their flavours are just bad. It’s not seasoned like a shawarma and they are just trying to make money by increasing the amount of vegetables. Shame on you for cheating your customers, I should have come back and got a refund. Unfortunately, I really wanted to like the food from here as the owner/person talking on the phone was very polite and nice and prices are also reasonable. However, it was quite disappointing and no one in my household really liked it or enjoyed their lunch. The tikka sandwiches were really soggy and the lettuce/veggie tasted not fresh and old. Sandwich has very mild flavours with the chicken being too bland. The falafel plate had crushed up pieces into tiny bits not sure why do that it’s alright just to leave it as whole, perhaps to make it seem a lot more than what it really is. Fries were decent. Absolutely fresh and delicious! I tried the falafel garden salad today for the second time and I must admit this kind of food makes you and your tummy Happy. So fresh and so flavourful. Had a wonderful chat with the owner who is such a humble person. He made my platter and also suggested various options for me to chose from. I really like when the owners go an extra mile to chat with their customers and understand their palates. I am definately coming back to try their soya chaaap wrap and non-veg options. I give this place a 5 star. Also, Very happy to see a clean and tidy space inside which ensures that the food is handled and prepared in a great environment....
